I reckon Bowen is the guy they are eyeing for replacing Salah. he's come on leaps and bounds.

It felt like Mac going off and Slob sitting deep set the tempo. He really is a star in the making. I don't think he's even got going yet. -

Fair play to Jurgen. Made the changes and tweaks and turned the game around. -

Thats exactly it. There should be independent refs (foreign?) or ex pros or someone in place that isn't their mates just like Dean admitted to the other week. -

Do you know what I hated in that sequence? That the refs in Stockley Park where calling the ref 'Brooksy'. Very unprofessional and far too matey. -

This doesn't belong in the shitness of modern football thread but it also does because I cant imagine players giving stories out like these two in 20 years time. Genuinely hilarious and @dave u gets a mention at the start. The stories from McMahon on Beardsley and Barnes management are superb! had this on in the background whilst working. -
Emergency Ward 10 - The Injuries Thread

Some footballers are fortunate. Yeah some are pussies, Sturridge deffo was for example, it was psychological with him, and some cant have their bodies pushed hard. Robertson is like an old fashioned fullback, Virgil is well built and so is Salah. Trents had a few niggles of late. -
Emergency Ward 10 - The Injuries Thread

Its because of the way we play under Klopp. Footballers these days are not robust like the old first division days when they had a steak and a pint before a match. I was watching some of McMahons tackle compilations the other days, if you did that now you'd snap players in half instead they all just got up and got on with it afterwards. They are like thoroughbreds now. Have you ever seen a professional footballers legs up close? Not an once of fat. But it makes them easy to injure, theres no protection there. Then they wear boots which are like socks and shin pads like aspirins. And then Jurgen gets them to sprint 1000x per match. -

Im enjoying it. Wasn't sure at first, liked the graphics of the planets and the ships, combat is ok but apparently the game doesn't really begin until you've done a bit of the main storyline. What im not that impressed with is the character models, same old Bethesda, would have thought they'd make them look better. Also I miss VATS, would have been nice to have the option to turn on the action points system and add some tactical strategy to gunfights. -

He should have scored the one that hit the post but was unlucky with the second half chance as the keeper slightly diverted the ball. -

You've got to laugh at the calls saying Salah was in the keepers line of sight and offside from Wright and co. The keeper isn't saving that in a million years! -

Just caught up with the full game, we looked very good. Villa got in now and again but we will never keep teams 90% out of games. I thought Matip and Gomez where on it today and the midfield where to. Weve got the basis for another very good team I’d like to see us cement that in January with a new cb and another midfielder and then in the summer get another cb. What a difference having legs and younger minds in midfield make, who would have thought! -
