Intelligence, by far, but only if it's specific to the area you excel in. Whether it be a creative, financial, sport orientated, entrepreneurial. Education on the other hand may open a few doors, but it's not a gift to a better life in and of itself. Education's goal is to gain specified intelligence, if you have the intelligence to begin with, what is the point of being educated in it? Bob Dylan doesn't need to go to university to do a music degree, nor does Richard Branson need a PHD in business. Their knowledge excels well beyond what university or private school can teach you, it's intelligence learnt by experience.
