  1. It was the coach of some local team who rejected him as a kid.Now he’s saying he will be off to Real for 150m. Pay him no heed. Mo invited him to the game at the weekend. Mohamed Salah invited the coach who refused to sign him for his local Egyptian team Zamalek SC because he 'wasn't good enough' last night he watched him score at Anfield against Chelsea in front of 53,000 people
  2. Funnily enough he was talking us up only last week. PSG goalkeeper Kevin Trapp has opened the door to a future move to Liverpool. The German admits he'd welcome working with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp in the future. Asked about the prospect of playing for Liverpool, Trapp admitted to Sport1: "It's an amazing club with a great tradition. "And of course, I'm a fan of the Premier League. The Reds are not without interest, they have already won many titles and Jürgen Klopp is of course a very good coach." Trapp, who has lost his first team place at PSG to Alphonse Areola, cannot rule out leaving. "I have not thought of possible clubs yet. However, many things can happen in football. Even if I'm not the most patient person, I have to stay cool," he added.
  3. Comeback week for Sevilla. Two down to Villarreal and win 3-2.
  4. Gomez at CB next to Matip, with TAA at RB would have been a better selection.
  5. No wonder he’s always got a smile on his face. He walks around completely unnoticed in women’s changing rooms in his spare time.
  6. It is possible Jurgen Klopp will have the strongest line-up since he became the Liverpool manager this weekend with Adam Lallana the latest high profile player to step up his comeback. Liverpool also saw Philippe Coutinho make his return to action for Brazil during the international break and Sadio Mane is also expected to be available. [Chris Bascombe - Telegraph]
  7. Liverpool owner John W Henry is in England this week. Henry was spotted on the Tube on his way to Wembley for Tuesday night's international friendly between England and Brazil. The FSG principal owner was snapped accompanied by Football League chief executive Shaun Harvey heading for the match.
  8. On his way to Wembley on the underground yesterday.
  9. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was turned off joining Manchester United by the pitch made by their chief exec Ed Woodward. That's the claim made in the new book, 'Klopp: Bring the Noise', being serialised in the Daily Mail. The offer came in 2014 when Klopp was still with Borussia Dortmund. "David Moyes's short tenure at Old Trafford was coming to an end, and Klopp was United's favourite to replace him, to bring back a sense of adventure to the Red Devils' game. Woodward told Klopp that the Theatre of Dreams was 'like an adult version of Disneyland', a mythical place where, as the nickname suggested, the entertainment was world class and dreams came true. "Klopp wasn't entirely convinced by that sales pitch — he found it a bit 'unsexy', he told a friend — but he didn't dismiss the proposition out of hand either." However, after some deliberation Klopp released a statement confirming he would be staying with Dortmund.
  10. Get Claude to host MNF with Carragher and Neville. The guys pure entertainment.
  11. Conte blanking Mourinho there at the end.
  12. And so he could get a fake work permit for Allan.
  13. Liverpool signing Naby Keita has found himself in more hot water in Germany. Keita's troubles continue off the field after three red cards in quick succession on it. The Liverpool-bound Guinea international has been issued with a penalty order for falsification of documents - reportedly a driver's licence from his home country. The 22-year-old will have to pay a six-figure penalty. And it could match the €540,000 (£479,740) Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus was fined for driving without a licence previously. Keita is expected to join Liverpool next summer.
