  1. I'm worried about all the games equally.
  2. Just one? Impossible. I could name a hundred! Kenny Barnes Rushie Fowler Gerrard I've met a lot of out players/ex players, some more than once, and Barnes has always come across as the most sincere. I think if he was playing now he'd score 40 goals a season - he's the ultimate modern footballer, and he did it 25 years ago! I do think Liverpool players from the past are underrated on a world level.
  3. Why is he rebuilding the current league title holders?
  4. I got it, thought it was funny. At least they can dust off their Everton In Europe passport covers. Actually, after all this, it'd be funny if they didn't even get into Europe at all.
  5. I can. He's a c**t of the highest order, and a liar, and an enemy of Liverpool FC. He threw his leg at the ball and it went in, happens all the time. His true talent appeared when he went missing for the Bayern goals which soon followed. I'm not having a go at you by the way, I just can't stand him!
  6. I still worry that foreign teams haven't realised that Man Utd really are woeful, and are still playing cagey thinking maybe that fast United counter attack of yesteryear might undo them. When in reality they are f***king s**t and there for the taking.
  7. It's the perfect storm. If anything it's happening TOO quickly. They need to carry on getting some half decent results so he survives the summer and gets another season in charge. When some people are feeling down they think about their kids and it makes them happy, some people think about a happy time in their lives and that makes them happy. Me - I think about what's happening at Old Trafford and it brings a massive smile to my face. I've waited years for this. It couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch of people.
  8. City are now one a point ahead of us, with a game in hand, so the title is in their hands. I don't understand why people didn't want them to lose last night. Either way, there are still games for them to lose. Anything could still happen.
  9. I can't see past a 276-0 win. A cricket score, if you like. And then we'll double that against Spurs who are woeful.
  10. I want Man City to lose because if they do then we have a better chance of winning the league. It's irrelevant to me that it's Man Utd in the next game.
  11. Drop the most in-form player in the league. I know, I've heard it all now. Might as well drop Suarez as well - just play with nine players. Man U will be so bamboozled they'll explode and we'll be awarded three points by the FA who as we know tend to look favourably on LFC.
  12. But he did pull out of the tackle, didn't he? That's why he got injured. Tomorrow - Chelsea loss, nothing else matters.
  13. I'd be interested in england doing well in the world cup (for the first time in a few years), what with all the liverpool players in there, plus the abscence of all those sh*theads like terry and ferdinand and hopefully cole (shame rooney's still there, not sure why though he's never done anything decent for england). But part of me thinks they're going to fail - and it's going to be hodgson's fault, but the liverpool players will get the blame. Just like gerrard's taken stick for years even though he's been wasted by every england manager, even sticking him on the left wing for years. Hodgson's somehow landed himself quite an attacking talented group of players and he's going to have them doing the Mister Burns Edwardian workout for 4 hours morning and afternoon. ''Push out the jive, bring in the love. Raise your left hock! Aerate! Raise your right hock! Aerate! Let's go! I want to see more Teddy Roosevelts, and less Franklin Roosevelts!''
  14. "Even at Liverpool, Roy Hodgson did not last as long as Moyes has, and he did not preside over anything like as prodigious a decline." Erm, I'd say he did, he dragged us down towards the relegation zone.
  15. Who could realistically afford him and his wages? Real Barca PSG Monaco Chelsea Bayern We won't sell to chelsea again, so they're out. I can't see him wanting to go to Monaco for obvious reasons. PSG? Big stuff happening there, and Champions League contenders - but the French league? Nah. Bayern have got forwards coming out of their ears - and can they afford a £70m player? Not sure. No doubt Suarez would go there though - best team in the world, great manager. Good league. So Real or Barca. Both can afford him you would think - but after spending £80m on Bale and £55m on Neymar could they justify another huge signing? Barca have got Neymar and Messi (not to mention plenty of other forwards) - would Suarez be overkill? Same goes for Madrid - they got rid of Ozil and Higuain. I don't think it's as simple as it might seem. Surely the time to buy him was last summer - why did nobody bid?
  16. They won't. We're going to steamroll man utd at old trafford. The locals will have Moyes's head on a stick by full time. They really are sh*t - i know, it's hard to belive after 25 years of disappointments, but they are.
  17. I used to think that about Kelly, but look what happened there. Either way - unless he takes a 50% pay cut then no. He's probably earning more in a week that Baines and Coleman combined.
  18. Believe. I don't think a draw tomorrow would be a disaster, depending on how other results go. I wouldn't worry about the defence either. The way we're playing I reckon Rogders is going to start playing goalie in and out soon.
  19. I think the answer to this is less defenders, more attackers. Let's just play with two defenders, like it's the 1920s. Let's crank up the attack. If we pull off the impossible it'll be because of our outlandish attacking play, not our crummy defence.
  20. I was joking. Mostly. Last few season we'd struggle. This season we'll trounce them.
  21. They've just sacked their manager, been knocked out the FA Cup, and have to play Napoli tonight and again next week. They're there for the taking. 0-0.
  22. Spot on. With Man Utd faltering, City, Chelsea and Everton having new managers and Spurs having been pegged back after the Villas Boas business, this is the season for us to take back that champions league spot, to attract better players in the summer and to earn more money - all things which will make us a stronger club with a better chance of winning more trophies and not just the odd FA cup every few years.
  23. F**k the defence, who needs it. I think it's been apparent for some time that deep down Rodger's doesn't really give a sh*t about the defence. He pays lip service sometimes. And at the start he was all about passing the ball around and controlling games. But that's all out the window, we're just going to out-score everyone. You score 1 we'll score 2. You score 2 we'll score 3. It's madness. And I love it.
