  1. Most of the lads that have returned from injury have been shite. Klopp has said we don't train, we just recover, surely that has something to do with it, the intensity isn't there in training for the lads to pick it up. Robbo has been better in recent weeks and Ali just strolled back to world class but the rest have been miles worse than the kids that covered for them.
  2. Some times you look at things and think that's not normal. Exhibit A, one of those teams makes more commercial revenue than the other. All above board of course. Exhibit B, one of those teams has a coach convicted of doping. Exhibit C, I'm sure it's totally unrelated to exhibit B, but one of those teams looks a million times stronger, faster and fresher. I'm sure history has tonnes of examples of 33 year olds coming back from hamstring injuries and playing 120 minutes in their first game back, against one of the quickest attackers in the world.
  3. Guardiola was screaming at the team and giving mad instructions in the huddle before the shoot out. Must be still on the drugs. One or 2 his players look like they dabble too. Walker just back from a muscle injury and he's still sprinting full tilt after 120 minutes.
  4. Nacho is available on a free, I've never seen him have a bad game. Could do worse than a straight swap for Joel.
  5. Unexpectedly nice evening of football that. Bernardo Silva took that peno like he had a cup of tea in his hand. Ha ha that was beautiful.
  6. This was in Dublin, so Leinster Senior League, by that stage I was in the Jonny Evans stage of my career, so washed up and playing for a shit team.
  7. Manè scored a last minute winner and Mo filled his boots one night, that's at least 2 I can remember in the Klopp era. Not sure he's lost one other than the covid non event.
  8. I played a match once where the referee had sent me off the previous week for handball on the goal line. There was a referee observer at the original game and he came over and apologised to our manager at the end of the game, said it was never a handball. When we had that same ref the following week I was the captain and was chatting with the ref in the centre circle before the match and told him what the observer had said, told him the league had wiped the suspension, even added some flavour to the story and told him I have a written apology at home. I've never enjoyed a match as much as I enjoyed that one, I realised pretty early I had free reign to do what I wanted. Even the lad I was marking began to find it funny, I kicked and dragged him all over the pitch. The funny thing about the whole episode was it was a clear handball and red card.
  9. From doubters to believer's.
  10. Gravenberch will be the big loser from Klopps decision. He would have taken the attitude that I signed him and I'll stick with him until he's the player we think he can be. The new guy will take one look at the windy cunt and want rid. If he didn't turn up for preseason I reckon half the squad wouldn't even notice.
  11. It certainly wasn't my intention to cheer you up but it really doesn't take much time to hit the neg button. I'll time the next one.
  12. This is the issue with my current strategy, the option to just up tick and move on isn't available to me. To show some sort of decorum I have to reply. I highly doubt Stronts is proud, he's too busy sorting out his PM's, whatever the fuck that's about.
  13. Our entire scouting network seems to revolve around watching Portuguese Super Sunday and Monday Nighy Football.
  14. And it's not everything, just posts in threads I read.
  15. That's not true Rico. I started negging you before that, indeed that's why you called me stupid. When you appeared so sensitive to a neg I made a decision to use them more often when I see your posts. I did briefly consider reigning it yesterday as I had no rep left to uptick a post because I used them all on you. On reflection I have decided to continue negging you.
  16. Covid football doesn't justify a response, as far as I'm concerned it didn't happen.
  17. The misses were a conclusion to a panicked performance. We passed the ball out of play more times this week than we have in 5 years. I've already said he set the tone, he wouldn't have allowed that sloppiness take hold.
  18. This has been a very good week for Sadio's legacy. Many of the mentality monsters are still here but they have looked and performed like they're scared. I've always thought Sadio was our physical leader, he set the tone, straight from the kick off he was smashing someone, now we look like conceding from every kick off. He would have filled his boots this week with the chances we created.
  19. Coleman, Young, Calvert Lewin, Gueye, Gomez, those lads can't play 3 High intensity games in a week. Mind you if Saturday goes badly for them the poison in that ground will require the old guard, it will be hateful beyond anything ever seen before in that in that kip.
  20. If you look at Villa the other week, they made the decision that 6 points was more likely if they sacrificed the City game in the middle of the week. That didn't make for pleasant viewing for Reds but it made sense. Everton are in that boat right now, Forest has to be the priority obviously but after that it's us on the Wednesday and Brentford at home on Saturday. A squad of that size and age, in the predicament they're in, has to be prioritising the 2 games they are most likely to take points from.

    Golf 2024

But I'd be right and some TLw big hitters would need to come grovelling to me. The latter is more important than the health of golf.
  22. I know I shouldn't but just checked the fixtures, Everton and Luton both have 6 matches, 4 of Evertons opponents have something to play for, Everton are the only one of Lutons opponents that won't have beach towels with them. If Luton could hand pick 6 matches they would chose the 6 they have.
  23. Assume that's a muscle injury for Brantwaite, should be out of our game.
  24. I haven't been watching, only turned it on when I seen it was 4 nil. I'll be turning it back off, ground is like watching a game in covid times.
