  1. WBA, Blackpool, and Wigan will go down. But to be honest, i havent looked at the teams schedule, but i think those team look very poor atm.
  2. Carragher Raul Lucas but really, all 11 played a perfect game, except for maybe maxi.
  3. Maybe he was just getting a happy meal at McDonalds?
  4. i still wonder how he could fail getting anything out of a squad with such great potential.. Oh well, as we have seen this weekend money isn't everything. ;)
  5. I totally agree with you, but i have to say, that Johnson still looks uncomfortable attacking from left. But i must admit that he is doing a hell of a job at the moment.
  6. I have never had the feeling i am having when i watch messi play, regardless if it is for Argentina or Barcelona. I actually laugh because he does alot of sick ridiculous things, that shouldnt be possible. Still he is doing it often, and makes it looks easy at the same time. I hate watching La Liga, but Messi is just good entertainment.
  7. Must be Kyrgiakos for sure! :P My money is on Suarez.
  8. I like the signals the owners send in the january window. It shows ambition, and thats what we all have missed for so god damn long. Someone to react when we sell our good players, and buy quality replacements, and keep improving our squad, instead of the opposite. For once i think we look like a better team going out of a transfer window than we were going in to it. Lets just keep it that way in the summer, and we will soon be title contenders as we should be.
  9. Times have changed.. Back then he was 2nd in line, now he is 4th choice at best. Beside that we don't have Woy anymore, and he hasn't played at all under Kenny Dalglish, and it doesnt look like he will get a chance at all to me. So i really don't see the point of him getting a new contract.
  10. i think it will only be for special occasions, or maybe until we get some players who can bring some width to this team. But i would like to see a 4-3-3 with Suarez - Carroll - Cole in the front line. I think that trio could do some serious damage.
  11. I don't see players like Kuyt and Poulsen leave in the summer. Poulsen is a known fighter, and is not afraid of competition. Kuyt is still an important part of the team, and we cannot get more than a 5-6 million for him IF we tried to sell him. So i don't see any value in selling him, as i think he is worth more for the team than that. I expect players like Kyrgiakos, Konchesky, Jovanovic, Aurelio, Insua, Aquilani, Maxi, and N'Gog to leave. And as said before if Cole gets a good run of games, i think he will stay, or else we will ship him off too.
  12. i still hope he will get a decent chance, as Maxi fails to impress me. Maybe its just me, but i have always liked Joe Cole, and think he could be a great playmaker for us, if we just gave him a good run of games.
  13. No it does not automatically make you the perfect lone striker, but beside being big and tall, he also is a goalgetter, who is good at creating space for the players around him. And that + being a huge target in the box is some very good qualities to have for a lone striker.
  14. i seriously don't see Pepe leaving us. I have to admit that i took option 1, because i seriously want us back where we belong. In CL!
  15. Well as i see it, we need a replacement if N'Gog leaves. Because that will leave us with only 3 options as the lone striker if we don't play 442(4 if we count pacheco). And that is Kuyt, Suarez, and Carroll. I think the lone striker, needs to be a target man, and i think we will get most out of suarez as a winger in a 433/451 formation, as Uruguay did in the WC. And i really don't like Kuyt in the lone striker role, because he rarely creates anything up front, and isn't a goalgetter anymore. And thats 2 of the main things i look for in a lone striker. so while Kuyt and Suarez is "ok" options as the lone striker i think the only PERFECT lone striker is Carroll.
  16. Of course not. But i think N'Gog have participated in +50 first team matches, and i don't think he have shown any sign of improvement, or potential to be a regular at any point. Then lets see what a highly rated youngster as Pacheco could do instead, or sign a replacement who can battle for a place in the first team.
  17. i don't watch the Bundesliga that often, but i have always liked Phillipp Lahm. Thomas Mueller looks good too.
  18. I would rather see Pacheco get a chance to develop, than see us wasting time with N'Gog. He have gotten his chance, when Torres was injured, and didn't take it. I think we should ship him off this summer, because i don't see him get any better than this.
  19. He is so great! Its good to see Dalglish is giving those young lads a chance to show themself. I wonder how good he could do as a centerback in a few years? That was his favourite position earlier right? Or am i totally wrong?
  20. Well.. We definately have the best schedule remaining, and we're in great form. If u asked me one month ago i would say no chance in hell, but now im a bit more optimistic. It will be one hell of a comeback, if we do it thats for sure!
