  1. hahaha. Did Koscielny shag the ref's wife, mother and sister? I love this.
  2. If i didn't know it was Djimi Traore i would never believe it..
  3. He is a decent squad player, but shouldn't be a regular. It is nice that he is in a good form recently, but he doesnt offer much compared to Sturridge, Coutinho, and Suarez offensively, and that is what he was signed for.
  4. Nesta Laudrup Ronaldo(The real one)
  5. Its a tough one. Definately not room for mistakes if we want to compete for CL spots. Why on earth do people want to get rid of Reina? He has proven to be one of the best keepers in the league, but had a form dip and made a lot of mistakes. Its hard to find good keepers, and we for sure have one, so why let him go? Reina has the skills, and skills don't disappear. I would let go of Downing, and Carroll. Downing has no place in this concept. He creates too little offensively, and is a one trick pony. He creates next to nothing compared to Sturridge, and Suarez who he is playing a front three with. Yeah he compensates for it with a great defensive work, but that doesnt work in Rodgers concept. We need a wing who creates as much as Suarez and Sturridge does. I know it is difficult but we need it. It is a serious blow that we only have one wing who the opponent fears. We ofc need a striker. Sturridge and Suarez is in the starting lineup, but we need more than them. Carroll isn't the answer, and we don't know if Borini is yet. We need a backup for Lucas! We have all seen how poor we can be without him, so that is a must. Doesnt need to be a world class, but at least better and with more potential than Spearing. A centre back since Carra is leaving, and definately one who can push Skrtel out of the lineup. We need an upgrade in my opinion. Then let young players as Shelvey, Sterling, and Suso play more, or loan them out. They need experience to get better, or else the whole point of getting great young players is a huge waste. I don't expect them to play every single match, but give them some confidence. I thought Rodgers was great at that in the beginning, but has faded a little. Suso impressed me(more than Sterling at times), but has not been given many chances recently.
  6. The only thing that make Downing valuable is that he works his ass off defensive compared to some other at his position. He is a one trick pony offensively, and offers next to nothing. I don't care how many assist or goals he has gotten, as they probably only have come up in big victories when the whole squad has been good. He is not one of the players that comes up with a performance, a goal, or an assist when we are in trouble, and that is what bothers me. Good squad player, but get rid of him after the season since he is playing decent atm, and probably won't do any better than this. We can get younger and better players for the same money.
  7. I don't know what to think of Borini yet, because i haven't seen enough of him to judge him. People on here always judge fast. Just look at the stick Henderson got, and Lucas. Lucas though was more deserved because he really wasnt that good for a long long period, so he got a chance to prove himself. I like Borinis attitude, and i actually think he could be a regular goalscorer for us if he got a chance in his favourite position instead of playing as a winger, but i don't think he will get an honest chance when Sturridge and Suarez is in the squad.
  8. I always had a good eye to Kasper Schmeichel, and think he is underrated, but i dont think we need a new keeper, unless we get a very good offer on Reina. We need some commanding centre backs, who can push Skrtel and Agger to a higher level, and maybe even take one of their places, like Carragher has done recently. I don't think we need more central mids, unless we get rid of Shelvey or Allen. We already have those 2 on the bench, and a decent looking triangle in the middle of the park in Henderson, Gerrard, and Lucas. I wouldn't say no to Xabi Alonso returning though. I think we need a left footed wing instead of Downing, and a top top class attacking midfielder, who can create and score goals. Ideally we get rid of a shitload of our bench because it clearly isnt good enough and get star quality players instead of, but as i know that won't happen i will be satisfied with the above.
  9. Uhm i don't think they have thought that far ahead dude. Remember Carra gave his statement before the club, and maybe he wants a year off to spend time with the kids before he decides what to do? I don't believe for a second that the club don't want him around.
  10. So sad to see this, but i understand it. He could easily take a season more, but i think it is good that he is stopping when he is still able of doing some good on the field, and is not just a bench warmer. What a legend. Nothing less. We need more characters like him, not only in LFC, but in football generally. He will be missed.
  11. We are still waiting for Spurs to make a late bid.
  12. I don't get why so many has Stewart Downing in the lineup. He is Mr. Anonymous against decent teams, and if u notice him, its only for bad things. He can't barely make a forward pass against average teams.. IF Stewart Downing should start and this is really only if i had to put him in the lineup it would be as left back, as he has been decent there, and Enrique poses as a big threat compared to Downing..
  13. Reina Johnson Skrtel Agger Enrique Lucas Gerrard Henderson Sterling Suarez Sturridge That team will get the job done. All in for the win. We need to win against our rivals for fourth if we want to be in that race, and beside that we have more than enough quality to get a win against Arsenal.
