Someone told me he was playing today I watched the entire match and don't remember him being there, I did wonder though way we was down to 10 men! fucking waste of space

I can see Roy reventing back to type with Lucas and Poulson as DM and with Jova back in and we will get hammered, I think the only way to beat Man Utd is too attack them and if the same team as was playing against Brum play we could be in for a big loss. I am no football manager but surely playing both Lucas and Poulson is a major error of judgement, one or the other (or neither) not both.

Great result but I gotta know who shot Kyri for the pen! Great goal by Lucas, good awareness from Cole for his goal, and Ngog's 2nd was well taken, defence actually looked like they could defend which is a bonus (imo Agger and Kyri better combo than Carra and Skrtel atm). Kelly playing better than Johnson aswell it actually looked like we had a RB for once, and Konchesky was a solid 7/10 again. Meireles did well for his debut and Joe looked to be linking up well with the other players, Spearing apart from a few mistakes and his slip was pretty solid aswell and appeared to be telling others where they should be, not really sure of Maxi I think I would much prefer Pacheco or Babel down the right. Kinda feel for Babel in some respects he wants to play upfront, but not allowed then get shafted to the left which he aint too hot on. ( I think he will be gone in January).

There is a difference between Quality and Quantity, we still have 50+ players on the book, granted alot are u21 we need but I feel it is right to do it as we have too many players who are too good (they feel) for reserve football but not good enough for the first team. Lets be honest if we can get 5 players playing for us from our youth we would have done very well and without being nasty I feel players like Pacheco, Shelvey, Wilson, Ayala, Kelly etc are more likely to make it into the first team than the likes of the players who have been moved on. The only player who could have had a future in the club is Aqua (maybe), but he wanted guarenteed football and I don't feel he should be guarenteed his spot especially as he is always injured and blows hot and cold, I can see Babel aswell being shipped on if he does not buck his ideas up.

The only people I can think of, off the top of my head is DIC (Maktoum) its known he is a Liverpool fan (though not Syrian he is Dubai) and obviously Yahya Kirdi's group (are Syrian but was classed as a "joke" bid, unless he was literally just the front man). Never heard about Gillete having a bigger share than Hicks though before, again another piece saying they will hang on till the end (as proof with thier American teams) and the OCT 6th date is mentioned even the reported debt is about right £282m, If it is indeed Kirdi's bid that the Russian is talking about who is the MYSTERY SYRIAN / SAUDI ARABIAN... The only Saudi Arabian who has been linked to us is Saudi prince Faisal Bin Fadh Bin Abdullah who owns F6 sports group F6 | It's simple: Care, Connection, Communication and Creativity Unfortunetely though it reads to me they are LBO (leveraged buyout) people aswell though I could be wrong.

The Spanish players are in Liechtenstien, and if we look away from the from this game is only the Spanish players who seem to care more about the club than thier English conterparts, Torres and Pepe have spoken about needing new owners, where are the guys who apparently love the club. Sorry went of topic there.

Only the Tuesday game with Argentina and hes home safe ...I would love him to make Masch and co look like muppets (btw its on ITV4 @ 8:45) though I will probs be watching England myself ..or both 1 streamed 1 tv =p

Dubai previously walked away and would not deal with the American owners, but now Mr Broughton a horseracing fan like His Royal Highness, is in charge the situation has changed. Amanda Staveley is involved in talks which could lead to a formal offer. I feel this could be a positive move for Liverpool. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Again prob more bollocks but there are a few flying around, but alot are saying Maktoum for the obvious reason him being a Liverpool fan and him being in for us before.

Fucking offy pisses me of I put a post about kopfaithful and how we should support it even if it makes one more person aware of whats happening, and all I got was bs posts back full of 12 yr olds trying to be funny, I makes you think if thats the attitude of probs the most visited forums, its no wonder people ain't aware of our plight.

The problem with boycotting is no matter how many people don't take thier seats someone will be there to fill it. The only way to make people sit up and listen is for the entire stadium to show thier disapproval of H&G on a TV match even if its just "Hicks and Gillette out" shouted through an entire match, yes we should be shouting for the team but getting the message across to everyone who don't have a clue is more important. Ideas of blocking coaches etc coming in will just lead to violence we have been there before we do not need it to happen again. Plus this would not make for happy scenes on tv and would perhaps make non LFC supports not interested in whats happening (look at the green and gold campaign of man U, its visable and get reported). Don't buy the shirts and other crap yes but to be heard these days you have to be on TV/in the papers or no-one cares its that simple. Send the Kopfaithful email to daily papers see if they will print them etc it all builds up, we don't need a snowball of coverage about what is happening we need a fucking avalance.

I reckon the back line will be Johnson - Carra - Agger - Konchesky though I would prefer to see Kelly - Carra/Skrtel - Agger - Konchesky with Johnson moved to rm/rw as he is possibly one of the more attacking players we have atm and if it does not work just pull kelly or Johnson off and move back if kelly is replaced I feel this would make for a more attacking right side aswell as better defensively, but then again I think J.cole is a winger =p

There is a post on the offy showing an interview with Ian Ayres about how well financially we are doing, that basically says without the debt H&G have on us it reads like we are making a shedload of cash but them two are taking it. the thread is called "Ian Ayre discusses how we're the biggest club in the world" I would link it but I am lacking in posts.. It gives us aleast some hope for the future aslong as them H&G ain't part of it.

And tbh it's not easy reading initially because the anger we are feeling now as regards to a VERY poor showing during the transfer window . . .but Mascherano WANTED to go, even though Roy tried to convince him that certain things would happen in the near future, he didn't want to stick around to find out. Last week Roy had a meeting with broughton, purslow and dalglish, and whilst they talked about possible signings etc Roy asked how much of a budget he would have, he apparently mentioned purslows £12 million plus sales quote, but was told some genuine info about the takeover and was told to wait and see. Basically broughton and purslow informed Roy that hicks lied to them all when he mentioned a big summer etc and that money from player sales would be sacrosanct. Basically he is trying to delay the inevietable from happening etc. .and this leaves us with broughton and purslow being pitched against the two "owners" Ayer is a minor point because he's already made his pitch with broughton. .but purslow was wavering, but now has come into the fold. Basically you will start to see a few things with hicks in the coming weeks. Anything from the ramblings about the stadium to the amount of revenue that has been generated etc, but as many of you may know on the 1st they get fined £20 million and whilst the sale of mascherano MAY go towards this. .it is still good news. I've talked to a friend about the "new owners" and why haven't they made their approach for the club made known to the public and quite simply put. .it's because the time is not right sadly. They confirmed that the following two are definately interested and that they have done DD and as I've stated all along they are: Shiek Mohammed and A group from abu dhabi They also stated that an American has just entered the process of doing due diligence and that he may also take this further, but as regards to who it is I don't know. .but apparently a senior representative of his was at the match the other day and he's going to be seen at a few more matches in the very near future. But the link between all this again comes back to the meeting had last week. .and what with the fine heading towards g&h there is also the October 6th hearing. And the STRONG indications are that rbs are being forced by the government to start calling in certain high risk debts and this has alerted the interested parties . Roy has been made aware of what is going on, and he's been promised that if he can keep Liverpool on track til the next transfer window then he will be given an "open cheque book" because the end is coming for g&h. First off I am new so be gentle! but C.Cole is a woeful signing if it true Carlton Coles stats Chelsea 25 games 4 goals Wolves 7 games 1 goal Charlton 24 games 4 goals Aston Villa 27 games 3 goals Westham 105 games 26 goals Yes thats right 38 league goals in 188 games for a 27 year old who has always played in the premiership, the question is more like how has he managed to delude so many people for so long, those who say he never had the service need to look at the clubs he has played for and the service these players would have provided. ratio wise your talking 1:5 goals to game ratio . IMO it would be like getting Heskey back but without the goals.
