Damien £50m for a broken striker .. need I go on? Damien - Luis Suarez ..nuff said I will say this though FSG said we want £15m pound more than the cost of Carroll, should Newcastle have asked for £15m then we would have asked for £30m for Torres, I wish people would actually learn to read stuff and understand it rather than flick through it and conclude its wrong and they are obviously right.

If its true he (Downing) has handed in a tranfer request then thats the 2nd time he has done it .. he did it to Middlesborough aswell ..IF we are genuinely looking at him then thats has surely brought his price down abit ...though if Spurs show thier hand he may opt for them as i beleive he is a Spurs supporter or was. Sidenote: talk of interest in Lovren (Lyon) quality defender

Its Thailands branch of Honda, though not the main Honda company in Japan, whos to say though this could not lead to a sponsorship from the "proper" Honda company. I think its a great capture by Ian Ayres tbh, the more we exploit the Asian market the better!

Anyone heard anything about Dimitri Payet apparently we were looking at him but have not anything recently, or is it just the journo's doing the French player link because of Damien Comolli ... would be a great addition to the team though If we are getting some wingers (ish) in then Young, Mata, Affelay or Payet, any two of these would be a great start!

I doubt N'zogbia will be bought tbh with Carroll being here and they have a bit of previous with each other (why N'zogbia was moved on from Newcastle).

I think the West Ham game showed we need alot of new faces, 2xCB, 1xLB , DM , CM, LM/LW, RM/RW and perhaps another striker and if the reports about Pepe are true then we may well need another goalkeeper =( --- 20m and we have to listen to offers, apparently Chelsea have been sniffing.

Decent 1st half got under thier skin abit, its a shame we don't have someone to finish the crosses off .. Maxi's miss was pretty unbeleivable it was definitely harder to hit the bar than bang it in, but quite happy with the 1st half ..we should be winning =/ If Carroll was fit and Suarez was fully fit we would be easily winning.. whether we win lose or draw I think we have no need to worry about our future.

Off topic but just refering to the utube video of YNWA, I know Mourinho has his knockers, but you have to hand it to him there. He was the only non plastic at Chelsea, he understand what its about, he went to every Liverpool player and shook thier hands and then applauded the crowd, not the Chelsea supporters but the Liverpool ones, still wonder if the only reason he would not manage us, is he is secretly one of us! If Kenny does not get the job full time (which imo he should, and probably will), then if Mourinho was offered it would we accept him? -
I can't beleive some people sayig Lucas was no good last night seriously anyone who get a pass completion rate of over 80% in my eyes had a good game. There is a reason he is in the Brazil side, he is possibly the tidiest player we have, just his work somehow goes unnoticed, same thing happened with Steve Finnan, you don't miss them till they are gone.
