As I said earlier (about an hr or so ago) they are the two things I have been hearing as possiblities (Man U takeover or Everton in trouble though I doubt the Everton rumour is true) Qatari people - rich as fuck (£2b takeover they reckon meh). I would hate to be right but I just have this bad feeling. Not sure the Holloway thing would be "MASSIVE" news though its not like he would walk ..atleast not till Adam is sold =p

There are three rumours doing the rounds atm £17m bid from apparent ITK's, a £19m bid which most people are saying on twitter, and the 29m euros bid (£24m) bid which the journo's like ballbag (Guillem Balague) is tweeting.. If any are true the 19m sounds about right what with addons etc, we don't look like mugs over paying and they get a decent price which covers thier debts, which is supposed to be around the 21m euros mark. Again though it could all be bollocks and out of the blue Messi and Ronaldo sign tommorrow ! (edit : ofcourse the likelyhood they would is not very high but some of the tweets would have you beleive anything)!

If Glen won't play right wing/ right mid and tbf he has played quite well as a left back and is possibly now our 1st choice left back, then I would play Gerrard on the right when Lucas is back and take Kuyt spot as he seriously needs a break. This would mean Shelvey/Poulson/Spearing (s/p/s) playing for the spot in midfield alongside Lucas. Not to mention Gerrard is possibly better playing on the right than in the middle. ----- Lucas - S/P/S----- Gerrard - Meireles - Maxi Ofcouse this would all depend on whether we recruit or not as I feel the SPS or Maxi slot could possibly be replaced, Maxi is abit like Kuyt in some respects (both poor wide men), if Maxi had Kuyt's engine and work ethic and Kuyt had Maxi's touch then we would have a decent player!

I thought tonight we was missing something in midfield, and that something was Lucas, for all the negativity the lad recieves I think tonight showed why he should be playing everygame (apparently he was out with an Injury). Glen played well at LB again, who would have thought he would be our best LB Kenny either got extremely lucky ..or he knows a thing or two about football! Not the best game to watch disallowed goal should have counted ..male linesmen where are the female ones they get them right ! another 3 points upto 7th ..two clean sheets and as a bonus Keys has resigned so all in all a good evening! Oh and Pantsil's goal contender for goal or the season? ;) Wonder if we could swap Skrtel and Konchesky for Hangeland ...

Sorry to get it back n topic (well sorta) but heard there is a possibility N'zogbia is being approched as the asking price is too high for Adam so IF true possibly line up like: --------Lucas-------- ---Meireles - Gerrard--- N'Zogbia---------Saurez --------Torres---------- that would seriously be frightning ..just need to work on a few defenders !

Speaking of relatively cheap players, I am surprised no1 has gone in for Anthony Annan apparently Rosenborg selling him for 2.5m or something like that would be worth it for the DM slot at that price surely? (dirty little player mind you)!

Should not have got the job in the first place, and by the looks of it the people he is looking to buy with the last "big spending window" is a joke ..C Cole FFS Carlton "1 goal in 5" Cole, and Robert (another Mr Hoof) Huth. If something is not done soon I honestly beleive he could take us down into the championship! The sad thing is man for man this seasons team is arguably stronger than last season when Rafa got the sack for finishing below what was acceptable, so how any person on this site or elsewhere can say give Roy more time is beyond me and I fail to understand thier reasoning as to why he should stay. IMO get Jocham Loew as manager with Didi Hammann as no2, a manager who is not afraid to drop "stars" and is willing to play young players, he kinda reminds me abit of Wenger. If Roy stays which to me his position seems untenable, then we can look forward to his amazing signings for mid table mediocraty. Poulson - konchesky - C.Cole - Robert Huth how can we not be excited by these illustrious names ? :eek: The only people to me who appear to be bothered is Lucas (had his critics but has possibly been our best player this year), Ngog, Soto, Miereles and to some extent Konchesky (atleast he is trying).

Its Chris Waddle ain't it keep saying pelanty, is it me or is he keep slagging off our passing yet we have apparently had about 70+% success rate, stoke have had about 40% pass success, still we have been poor, Pulis constantly moaning aswell is annoying

Almost makes me wan't to twitter Lucas to check it was him =p , he has been one of our best players this season between him and Reina. Kuyt was good aswell =)

Affelay would be a great buy just what we need a winger, and he has 1:3(ish) goals to game ratio which is pretty good for a winger can play either side left or right wing ..Affelay and Mata/Turan (possible maybe as we have gave them quite a few of our old players), get in Llorente, and we wont be where we are now ..if even Roy is still in charge!

Well if we don't win sunday I can see the board having no choice in the matter, I really hope we win but I just have a feeling Roy will try and play extra cautious so I expect Poulson and Lucas almost feels like another 0-0 on the cards =/ Sidenote: gotta love the Japanese for the way they covered the Liverpool takeover Video: Liverpool ownership animation - Telegraph Quite funny !

In all Honesty I would rather see one of three things happening 1. Pacheco plays RM/RW 2. Shelvey plays RM/RW 3. Johnson moves up to RM/RW and Kelly plays RB As much as Babel "could" offer he never really delivers, its a shame really as he could have been a great player it just seems he is too distracted by other things. I don't think the way he just watched the ball roll out was too clever either, he could easily have got that.

Whether Shelvey is the best player on the pitch or not, IF Roy is still here he won't play him in the next game, its a shame because he's a great young player.
