I wouldn't say there is much difference between the respective squads. Argentina's might be slightly stronger, but they are nothing special either. Given how little work and tracking back Ronaldo does, I'm not sure how you can say he doesn't need other players to tick.

In my opinion, the Ryder Cup is a load of contrived bollocks that the very top players care little about. Monty cares, but that's only because he shat himself every time he was in contention in a major. When Tiger, McIlroy or Mickelson, for example, retire, their Ryder Cup record will be one of the least important things they remember.
