Am i missing something with Ozil? Yeah he's clearly a very talented player and has a great eye for a pass but for the life of me I can't say I rate him. Lallana is the quintessential great squad player, good option to have, versatile and a very good player to keep possession and run down the clock. He needs upgrading but should be kept as a option, he was very impressive today, a brave performance and took responsibility upon himself.

I've never seen as competitive a league, extraordinarily difficult to predict any game. The pessimist in me would call it a glorified championship.

Mignolet has made incredible saves to keep us in games and win us points. His first few months at the club were his best obviously his penalty save vs Stoke, he made great saves against Villa and Man Utd as well. Off the top of my head he made an incredible save on the opening day last season to deny Southhampton to deny Long saves against Everton st Goodison this season on Naismith and lukaku, a few at WHL particularly on N'Jie, one last season against Spurs the 3-2 win at home (Balotelli only league goal) against Chelsea this season Oscar's chip from 45 yards out, Against Norwich on Jarvis at 1-1 this season, the 0-0 at the Emirates save on Giroud. These are all saves Pepe wouldn't make but the panic he instills in the defence in front of him just Isn't worth it.

Benteke was never going to work here. Target men are a bit shit in general, don't get why they are currently so in vogue. Give me a Sturridge, Martial or Lacazette type ahead of these inflexible lumps.

Have to say Giroud is a quality player, I used to think he was shite. But has become a very consistent and dependable goal scorer.

Flanagan's not our highest earner nor is he one of our key players. Sturridge is our best player when fit, so the void he leaves in the team is massive m. He has to be replaced.

He doesn't play football and he just destroyes a the morale of the fans and the squad, we have to move on.
