  1. He has enormous teeth. And wears shorts in the middle of the winter. What should we make of that?
  2. It's compared to Hodgson at Fulham. Totally comparable IMO.
  3. And improving Bolton from Megson is hardly the most enormous task.
  4. He's really flavour of the season, isn't he? Getting Bolton to play like Barcelona, and fighting for a top spot in the league? Young, scottish and hailed as the best thing since...well...the last flavour of the season. But is he all that? Is Bolton all that? I have never been convinced to be honest. First og all, let's get some facts straight. We all know everything about Roy Hodgson's poor away stats for Fulham and for us. It's a stick most people beat him with over and over again, and rightly so. But did you know that Coyle's away record in PL is even worse? I thought so: O.Coyle away in PL (BUR 10 games, BOL 21): P31 W4 D6 L21 avg 0.51 pts pr game. Roy Hodgson two full ses at FUL: P38 W4 D15 L19, avg 0.71 pts. Of course Coyle has a good home record, but you can easily argue that the PL this season is the weakest in a long, long time and Bolton haven't any big scalp at home apart from Spurs. Their wins are agains Stoke, Spurs, Newcastle, Blackburn and WBA. Hardly the big guns, right? Bolton has indeed become more pleasing to the eye after Coyle took over. The likes of Stu Holden, Lee and Elmander in form have given them other options than aiming for Davies up front. But I would be careful to judge Bolton in december to be honest. Let's see where they end after one full season. With the dismal away record, and with more difficult home fixtures coming up in the new year, it might be a slight chance that Owen Coyle isn't the best young manager around after all.
  5. I for one don't believe what I read in the papers... Only what I read on twitter...
  6. It's better to get used to the fact that Comolli will give us french players not very many of us will know of.
  7. All I know is that Kenny stepping up at a home game first would be the right solution if he takes over. That would be wikipedias new picture in the article about collective unition.
  8. You obviously didn't spot his age, his earlier performances before his recent injury nightmare, nor the main strategy of our new owners. Potential.
  9. I thought something similar. It was a meaningless sub. I made it to be Hodgson trying to please the fans knowing they were at his back.
  10. The most refreshing team in the PL for years. It's not a coincidence. They attack with a plan. Some teams don't expect to be attacked at home.
  11. The most interesting part about vdv is that he's not an athlete by any means. Not strong, not fast, not a good engine. But it shows that brains and skill still hold their own in modern football. Thank god!
  12. Best player he most likely is, but would the team be as good or better off without him? I think so. If the "spice boys" were unhealty for thet team, so has Gerrard been. Even when he's not playing, the only thing you hear is how people speak about him. What would Gerrard do there. Only if Gerrard played tonight... It's predictable, boring, unhealthy and sure as hell has hampered more than one career at Anfield. But isolated he is a unique player based on his ability alone.
  13. What a fucking idiot that sad excuse of a man is. The day he resigns or is sacked, I will celebrate trophy-wise!
  14. It's an outdoor sport. Games will be postponed during the winter.
  15. I like risk. Villas Boas for me. Think it will be Deschamps though, and even if I hated him as a player, I think he would be a very good choice
  16. Ragarding Cole, his so called fragile mentality, and what his type of player needs. Read about how Mourinho's take on this type of player is: www.level3football.com

And he bought Solano. A winger. Who can cross the ball. He also brought them the win against Barcelona - which is most likely the biggest and most famous night the Geordies ever have experienced.
  18. Again, how many of our conceded goals has Konchesky been directly, or indirectly involved in?
  19. If I kept a napkin every time Lucas makes a fool out of people stating that stupid myth, I would need one of these to remove the napkin storage now and then.
  20. Would love to post the picture he sent on MMS from his new location where he most likely watched the second half bashing Lucas without any opponents to his view. For some strange reason I haven't kept it. I just remember a drunk face with a big grin
