  1. Why would it be us? We would cost far more to buy and just as much to turn into a premiership winning side. None of the billionaires who have bought clubs seem to be arsed about thge size of the clubs fanbase or history so why would the choose to spend more on us than Everton if we both had a sixty thousand seater stadium?
  2. If Everton do get a share of a sixty thousand seat stadium they would be the next club bought by Arab billionaires. We would be shooting ourselves in the foot in more ways than just sharing with that bitter shower of shite.
  3. Rafa is superior to every manager we've been linked to. He wouldn't mess us around publicly before he was even offered the job. I'm not a big believer in going back, and for that reason I didn't want Kenny, but when you look at the dross we are being linked with I can't see a better alternative.
  4. I think we`d be lucky to only make a loss of £25 million if we sold him now, and to be honest if its true that he said he wont celebrate if he scores against his old team Im disappointed - he should say, with the shit form, Ive been showing lately Ill cum in my pants if I score.
  5. The man who deserves to be slaughterd for this is Moores and the fact he can sit in Anfield on matchday like hes done no wrong is beyond a joke! That still sticks in my craw now.
  6. Next year our revenues will look better by 50 million pounds thanks to Torres !
  7. I pretty much agree with that, as much as I think hes an important player for us he just cant control himself, I dont think its worth risking him there unless we`re losing and need a goal. Personally, I think hes nuts. - (still think hes great like but a nut)
  8. Anyone think that Scholes coming back is a sign utd dont want Fergie spending any more this season because he`s off at the end of it?
  9. And Benayoun as well... In fact when I think about it like that, weve done alright so far out of the chavs. I feel happy all over now.
  10. Bit of a kick in the teeth that, Raul, thanks. Take our regards and I hope you do as well as Torres has.
  11. Would anyone be surprised if they put in a sneaky late bid for Coates? Their kind of price and player, in a position they need strengthening, and a proper dig at a top four rival to cheer up their fans. ;)
  12. Wonder how big the attendances would have been if England had been playing?
  13. Neither, you fool its his red faced brother Tom..
  14. Thats the dullest football song ever. Just as we`re playing fast attacking football again someone wants a song to send the team to sleep. Think what the Scottish team has achieved after listening to it.......
  15. K They bought him because the manager wanted him and they had the money from the Torres sale, - it fitted their business plan. Oh and if I popped up every time shit was written about us, I would probably have recorded a lot more posts than you, not the frankly pathetic number I am currently responsible for.:P
  16. As I remember, we were struggling to afford/negotiate a price for Suarez before we sold Torres. The owners werent keen to spend then and I cant help thinking that was at least in part motivation for Torres leaving, and behind some of Pepes comments. We might not be skint now, but we arent rich. either. These owners are after a profit, just like the last ones.
