I'm extremely suprised by the voting results on here - THE LIVERPOOL WAY FORUMS (known for thier harsh view on Rafa). I'd love it to happen. Give Rafa 15-20 mill on a player and 9/10 times he will get it right. Keane's failure was just a major shock, we were all suprised that he wasn't a success here. Aquilani was in fact only a 6mill signing.

    I'm all for safe standing. The sad fact is we haven't been able to create the kind of atmosphere's that we used and I believe that this is most certainly due to all seating. It must be 100% safe though, that is the absolute key. Hillsborough wasnt down to standing, it was down to incredibly poor policing from top to bottom, as we all well know. A way that we can pay tribute to those 96 fanatics who lost thier life because of that tragic day is for us to help create a standing are which is 100% safe. If it is safe and the atmosphere improves then everyone is a winner.

    Torres you are a Liverpool legend but I'm afraid this has hacked me off. Alonso did it VS Inter and it annoyed me then and my feelings towards this kind of scenario hasn't changed. Fernando gets paid massive amounts to play for such a club and in all honesty he should really be a true professional and play tonight. Not confident. This is probably me being a selfish twat!

    Are any of them seriously good enough for where we want to be at? Course they're not. I'd get rid of Agger and bring in Shawcross. Although Dan's good, he is amazingly overrated.

    We need a young manager who would come in here and look to build for the long run like Benitez did when he first arrived at the club. Therefore, Rijkaard and Coyle would top my list. They may not be the best managers on that list by they may just well be the best choices(for the reasons I have mentioned).

    What are you talking about? I presume you are saying this because he hasn't scored. Suarez has been playing well lately and has been very unlucky infront of goal if you have seen thier games.

    Dalglish went over to watch Lille play roughly a month ago and it seems that Roy (don't all shit yourself cause I mentioned his name) was watching thier recent game against Monaco. Frenchman Damien Comolli must have touted a few possible players to Roy from the French league since he has been here. They are clearly taking one,or more, players very seriously from Lille, so lets just hope Hazard is on our radar!

    If Niko was available at a price of 5-7 mill in January would he be a good purchase for Liverpool? Personally, I think he's a top player who would add a lot of attacking intent to our side. I'm not saying he should start every game, but if we realistically want to be challenging again we need a great squad.
