  1. Some of the shittest fans you will ever come across. Apart from that awful 'hoof' shite the only thing I heard from them was 'where's your famous atmosphere' and this was while our fans were quite vocal. Typical cockneys, not one song supporting their own team.
  2. I thought they were too cool for banners?
  3. Aren't things like confidence, momentum etc big factors? Rotation policy which always works so well for us towards the end of the season - see previous seasons. Torres back from injury. People are actually saying they are going to blame our manager if we dont win the league? I think its pathetic really.
  4. Wow, this thread is ace. So Rafa suddenly changed overnight our approach, even though we are playing the same system? And the Spanish media are to the reason for our good form lately? And it was Rafa's fault the ball couldn't go in the net for a few of those games we dominated but couldn't score and came out with draws from? Cool.
  5. Im with you, we've built up loads of momentum and got more coverage then we've ever had. We need to keep it going...banners, chants the lot.
  6. Someone on raotl who was sat directly behind him had a word and says Itandje looked at him as if he did nothing wrong. Clown.
  7. It turned into a political rally didn't it?
  8. Saw that, fair play to John Snow. He went to university in the city didnt he? Sheila Coleman was excellent too.
  9. Agreed. Rick Parry was there, as were lfc stewards. I just thought it was really inappropriate. Since the club gave us the blocks at the back, Anfield has become a really enjoyable experience in the league. This season and last were probably the best seasons for me in terms of match going experience. And we have proved that we can police ourselves, no problems at all. Probably a discussion for another day...still thought id just mention it since everyone was talking about it in the pub not so long ago.
  10. I wasnt going to comment on this today but seeing as its already been mentioned and the fact that Treveor Hicks felt the need to bring it up, I thought it was complete inappropriate. Its like he was sending a message to the club about our blocks 304/305/306 at the back. He knows standing had nothing to do with Hillsborough, so why even bother talking about it? I sympathize with the man, can't imagine what it was like for him to lose two daughters, but was quite shocked with some of the stuff he was spouting.
  11. I moan a lot about our support at Anfield, especially recently, but yesterday made me appreciate just how good our support is. So glad i'm not associated with some classless small time gimps like the Chavs.
  12. When that fella shouted 'we want justice' and our fans broke into the 'justice for the 96' chants, well that was a really proud moment. A lot of people complaining about the 'heckling' when he announced he was representing the Prime Minister and the government...well I think those people had a right to vent their frustrations, don't you? We've had enough lip service, and not enough action. I won't comment on Hicks' comments on standing amongst other comments, as this isn't the right time, but a fantastic speech from the Lord Mayor, absolutely spot on.
  13. Yeah come to think of it I remember us boycotting the programmes that day. Unbelievable really. Also might be a bit off topic here, but does anyone think its a bit insensitive of Carlsberg to sponsor a stand where we lose 96 of our fans?
  14. Oh right, my mistake. I was quite young at the time, I think it was around 97. The point still stands though, I remember our end going mad after they heard it being announced.
  15. I wonder how Chelsea will approach this game...
  16. Anyone remember going to their stadium in the early 90s, and their stadium announcer said something about their stand being sponsored by the s*n? Horrible knobheads they are.
  17. Yeah, that. I heard some lads talking about taking a banner down there saying 'John Terry's Ma was on our coach' That's quite funny tbf. I can;t believe all the lot with morals in this thread.
  18. We should create a new song about it imo. How about 'Terry's Ma dream of a train of carraghers' ? In the front Carragher In the back Carragher In her arse Carragher In her mouth Carragher...
  19. Great gesture, well in Paul. He was Swansea's best player last season, moved up to a bigger club and now Forest's best player too. Keep an eye on this lad, he's boss.
  20. Skrtel isn't even hard. He's a softly spoken polite young man, who misses his mum and Slovakian daytime television.
  21. We do need more fashion bizzies at the games.
  22. Funny thread. Seriously though, doesn't he drive an Audi TT? Im sure I saw some bold Slovakian overtake me a few weeks ago in one.
