  1. Kolo Toure kills family in drug rage and then fucks his dog in the arse Man City Statement, we are sticking by him.
  2. Personally I would like to see a move for Ibrahim Afellay, Who doesn't seem to be getting a look in at Barcelona.
  3. Ideally our squad would look something like this next season. Reina, Jones,Gulacsi G Johnson, Kelly, Flanagan J Enrique Aurlio, Insua Cahil, Carragher, Ayala Agger, Kyrgiakos, Wilson Diarra,Lucas,Spearing Meireles, AdamShelvey, Gerrard,J Cole, Pacheco Suarez,Kuyt,A Young Carroll, N'Gog This means selling Skrtel, Konschesky, Poulsen,Maxi,Jovanovic,Aquilani, Degan and El Zhar. Rougly this would mean a net spend of around £50 million
  4. The only way to prove it is by having sex with every single one of us.
  5. There are no Animal rights laws in Columbia.
  6. I'm sure the owners will have thought of this. I'm sure they just want to see roughly, how many people would be interested, and will then work out if its worth builing a new stadium or redeveloping Anfield. My guess would be that if every person on the Season Ticket waiting list was offered one right now, at most 1 in 3 would actually buy one.
  7. does anybody know roughly how many season ticket holders we have at Anfield currently?
  8. I couldn't agree more. We seem to have plenty of centrebacks at all levels, Wilson, Kelly, Ayala all look like they could do a job for us now, and then there is Wisdom, who looks like he could also be ready in a season or 2.
  9. Wouldn't it be considered as being a conflict of interests? For instance, if we wanted to buy a Roma player, or vice versa, how could we negotiate with them? also if we were to meet in Europe, who would NESV be supporting? I'm sure Roman Abramovich tried to do a similar thing a few years ago with CSKA Moscow but he wasn't allowed.
  10. Over the past few years, we have witnessed the complete lack of these qualities by certain individuals within the club, from owners to players and managers in my opinion. But the good news is It looks like we are slowly getting rid of these individuals. Hicks, Gillette, Mascherano and Torres, to name the biggest culprits. It now seems that we have owners that want the best for the club, and clearly our new manager has only ever wanted the best for us. So now it rests with the players. This summer more than anything, we need our current players and any new ones we sign to be fully committed to this club. any players that have any lingering doubts should be moved on. of our current squad, who, if anyone seems the most likely, to look to leave in the summer. Reina, Agger, and Glen Johnson have been linked with moves away over the past 12 months and considering how old they are, I could sort of understand if they wanted to do a Torres. The biggest thing to come out of all this is clearly we are now moving in the right direction and surely now we can put this all behind us and look forward to some more great times ahead at Anfield.
  11. The fact is we have massively overpaid for Andy Carroll. as good a player he is, his lifestyle and off the field antics should have limited any bid to 15-20 million at most. The one thing that a lot of people seem to have missed, is that having paid 35 million for Carroll, he is unlikely to ever be worth more.
  12. With the league as tight as it is, I think we need at least 2 more wins.
  13. If we keep king Kenny as manager, and keep hold of our key players, I think we need 4 or 5 additions in the summer, and we could challenge for the title. A left back, A center half, a winger, a forward, and a central midfield player are what we need. Players I would sell in the summer are, Konchesky, J Cole, Jovanovic, Ngog, Poulsen, Aquilani, Degan and El Zhar. They would bring in a combined total of around 20 million and also trim the wage bill significantly. This leaves us with a squad of Reina Jones Kelly Johnson Aurelio Insua Agger Carragher Skrtel Kyrgiakos Kuyt Maxi Lucas Meireles Gerrard Shelvey Pacheco Carroll Saurez If we could add Gary Cahill, Jose Enrique, Charlie Adam,Lassana Diara and Juan Mata to the squad, I think we could win the league next year.
  14. I think Rafa's next move should be the Real Madrid job. It looks like only a matter of time before 'the special one' is sacked, If they get knocked out of the champions league, I don't think he'll make the season. This would be a great chance for Rafa to prove himself again, and if he could topple the current Barcelona team, it would be arguably his biggest achievement.
  15. 150 games already! I think a lot of people forget he was very young (18?) when he signed for us, and took his time to adjust to top level english football. Now at the age of 23 he looks like a very tidy player, and someone who can continue to develop and improve his game and be a regular in the first team for years to come.
  16. Yeah I was thinking this earlier, its interesting that Sterling has been given a squad number, as he looks like a winger in the John Barnes mold from what i've seen of him. but the lads only just turned 16, surely he won't be thrown in yet?
  17. Nothing about this deal anywhere today?
  18. EXCLUSIVE: Liverpool Negotiating With Chelsea Over £50m Fernando Torres Bid But Want Nicolas Anelka Included In Deal Instead Of Daniel Sturridge - Goal.com From a very reliable source!
  19. He's only got 18 months on his contract, so there is no way he is worth anything more than 5 million! personally I think he'd struggle if he came here, as I don't see where he would fit in alongside Gerrard and Meireles.
