  1. Yeah, it was 'only a little to much' and it was having 'no effect' on the club. And Tom was finding a fix.
  2. My view as well. Read before that they've never taken a dividend out of Boston in their time there. Not sure how true it is, but hopefully it's a model they employ here as well. Blobhead Hicks actually has a point when he says the club is being sold at a low price. Unfortunately for him, it was his own incompetence, greed, and giant ego that drove the price so far down that it meant his shares were worth the sum of fuck all - and he rightly got driven back to cowboy town out of pocket. It's like a house that used to be really awesome, some owners came in, broke everything and pissed all over the walls, defaulted on the mortgage and left it worth fuck all. So a new owner comes in, rebuilds it - and sells on at a massive profit if they so desire. They may not desire to sell, but they have an asset of greatly enhanced value. It's basically the same in this instance, although I don't really like describing the club as an 'asset'. This club has enormous potential if managed properly, and without the burden of acquisition debt, it can strive to meet that potential. If you can afford it, it's the business opportunity of a lifetime.
  3. I agree, but I don't think we can complain about that after the last 3 years!
  4. It wasn't a bad looking stadium, although I thought it looked pretty unrealistic and over the top. I'd rather not go with it, mainly to wipe out another trace that Hicks ever existed at our club. His 30m worth of hanging picture should be forever left as a monument of his blubbering sky academy award winning performance.
  5. I'm not sure you can even attempt to rank it with past events. To me it's unrankable. The whole thing has been such a saga for 3 years, and I think we must all be a bit like Broughton, Purslow and co. looked yesterday - utterly drained emotionally. Particularly after we thought we had it all done on Wednesday morning, and then got dragged back through the mud again for another two days. I don't even know what to feel. Obviously delighted, but I think, like many of you here, my overwhelming personal feeling is one of relief to be honest.
  6. That's my thoughts too. He goes out on the back of a charm and PR offensive and says "I don't want to hurt the club, I'm a good guy wank wank wank" When in reality, someone has told him he's got absolutely no chance of winning - and he'll get counter-sued to fuck and left in ruin if he takes it to court. Surely even he isn't stupid enough to effectively accuse the British Government of a grand conspiracy in a London High Court. If he does, the consequences would be hilarious, but it'll be preferable for everyone if he just fucks off - and I think he will.
  7. Not sure there'll be any more piss funny statement than "they swindled it away from me in an epic swindle" for some time. Just returning the favour you fat twat.
  8. I was a bit worried he'd come out swinging, that was just pathetic. Lies, lies, lies and then more lies. Couldn't believe what I was hearing. Fuck off you fat twat. Hope the RBS and British Government take this cunt for all he's worth. "There's only one epic swindle......."
  9. Absolutely. Wonder if the RBS can counter-sue him for that blatant lie that the RBS turned him away as well. He's just a compulsive liar. It's unbelievable. Finally got tangled up in his own web of them though. He's lied so much he doesn't even have a perception of reality anymore and it won't be long before he gets locked in a padded cell. He's a broken man.
  10. Yeah, but that wouldn't have done his £1 billion lawsuit much good now would it!
  11. In one way I'm glad it's gone - it's obviously better for the club, but there was a part of me that wanted to see how his ridiculous action against a 'Conspiracy of the British Establishment' in the highest courts in the land would go. And of course, the ensuing counter claims by the RBS and co. that would have seen them laughed out of the courtroom yet again and probably into a jail cell. Now just waiting for the statement about the fact that they dropped it out of the bottom of their hearts and want to see LFC successful, we investested lots of money blah blah blah. Rot in hell.
  12. I'm not sure they do, but maybe I'm wrong. But I think both the binding deal with NESV, and Hicks' own TRO did for both he and Mill Financial.
  13. It's going to be good viewing, that's for sure. Remembering Gillett was going to bail out with a huge profit and Hicks put a stop to it. Now they've lost it for nothing, and Gillett is going to have Mill Financial all over him for their 75m that they're out of pocket. And that 1 billion 'Grand Conspiracy of the British Establishment' is going precisely nowhere but being counter-sued into next century and ending up living in a box on the side of the road.
  14. Because of the debt itself. The shares were basically worthless in the end as far as I can see.
  15. Justice Floyd laughed off their ridiculous damages claims in the high court the other day, and even their own lawyer seemed resigned to the fact they had no grounds. I assume the case will be heard in London seeing as it's the only place with jurisdiction (assuming the Kangaroo Court 160th district hick court of Texas doesn't step in again) - and there's no way they'll win a cent in the UK. Having read through their submitted claim, I've never read a bigger load of crap in my life. They'll get laughed out of court again, and the RBS will drag them back in there and take them for all they're worth. "Grand conspiracy by the British establishment" - it's ludicrous and laughable. The NESV deal wouldn't have gone ahead if they weren't confident in their legal position.
  16. I'm sure they siphoned some out, a few million in expenses and the like, but we know they'd both be down 75m as a starting point. Funny thing is what happens between the Mills clowns and Gillett now? He's left them 75m out of pocket.
  17. Trying to be cautious, but I really like him already. Carries himself with a whole lot of dignity - and we've not been used to that of recent times. Clearly a smart and witty guy, as opposed to the bumbling loudmouth Texan gobshite we've had. He and Broughton are the ultimate contrast to what we've had to put up with from Hicks and Gillett. Loved the "why is it only that much?" comments as well. Clearly they're not that concerned by Hicks or they wouldn't have completed the process. Justice Floyd turfed out most of H+G damages claim in the first hearing - and even their lawyer in that hearing admitted that their chances of ANY damages was severely limited at best. Seemed intent to let NESVs actions do the talking, rather than charging in with all sorts of outlandish promises. Trying to be wary, but I trust this guy. He stuck with us through all of this weeks rubbish, when he could have easily packed it in and gone home.
  18. Hicks claiming a conspiracy of the British establishment. Tin foil hat for Tom please!
  19. Maybe they could borrow it ........ I'm sure banks will be well up for lending those 2 money again!
  20. What an unbelievable job, amazing feat to get rid of the cancers. Absolutely amazing. Martin you're a fucking genius!
  21. Hahaha, this bloke needs to be locked up - absolutely delusional. He won't get a cent. Bringing a 1 billion pound claim against a international bank, owned 84% by the British government - accusing it of an epic swindle and a grand conspiracy - I've never heard anything so laughable. The RBS and co. will take this cockgoblin for all he's worth with a counter-claim as well.
  22. He may have sold his shares in Kop Delaware, but I'm pretty certain he can't sell the relevant shares within Kop Holdings without board approval. Maybe he's swindled the gobshites at Mills into buying an empty shell?
  23. Great news about the PL growing a pair and telling Mill to do one. As said above, really important news. They can't pay off the debt with the RBS, as the RBS would be in contempt of court in the banana republic with tinpot Jim - and liable to a huge damages claim by NESV. Now they can't become the owners either because the PL actually showed some balls. Excellent.
  24. As far as I can see, they're basically just daring the RBS to put us into administration. Hicks knows he's fucked, he wants to take us down with him - while administration probably represents the best/only chance of Mill getting something for their 75m of worthless shares.
  25. They can't thanks to tinpot Jim and his kangaroo court. The RBS don't want to be held in contempt of court in Texas, which they would be if they put us into administration as of now.
