  1. Unless they have some dastardly plan for us, generally we're in the best position we've been since Moores. The football side no, well not yet (hope) . Most would have accepted this scenario during the epic swindle. The stadium is the bugbear, as it has been for years.
  2. Code. I'd like to think you're on a wind up but I can't anymore. You're a grade 'A' dickhead.
  3. I honestly think that with a few signings (give or take Suarez), take the form we finished with from last year into the new. Given the upheaval within other contenders, if we get our act semi-together we can get back into the top four at least next year. Then the debate changes.
  4. I don't think anyone can make proper judgement at the moment. We wanted self sufficient, looks like we are, although we're the Liverpool of now, not years gone and it will maybe take a bit more than 'self sufficient' to get back. There is also inertia on the stadium issue, along with the seemingly only interface of the cuntish Ian Ayre, so a bit of both. Things have been worse but still not that not rosy.
  5. It's also scary that in recent years, the worst have been our own fans lapping up what the media have spouted. Enough people feared and stated about the likes of this happening (losing players), when we went with an unproven manager in Brendan. We have finished slightly above mid table. Surely it can’t come as that much of a surprise :wallbutt: .
  6. Keeping the thread going, anyone of you chaps care to meet Possum :wow: .
  7. No by a week or so will do, don't know why I've said Wednesday, A brief synopsis. We are trying to instigate a delay. The school being Christ the King in North Huyton. It's the only secondary school within North Huyton, not to mention the only catholic (mixed faith) school in the area. One of the main reasons the I/E/B and the coucil have provided is low school numbers / that the the figures make it unviable to remain open. We have a few methods which are ongoing, eg have they gone against any statute (Inspections Act / School Regs). Another is do the figures add up. One of the main reasons I want access to the accounts is I can get them checked against what the council are saying, to see if there's any discrepancy. We have to put together a report / appeal within a few weeks to send the Ombudsman. We've now gone past the consultation period and we have six weeks before it shuts so we have littlee time for information gathering. If the Ombudsman agrees there is any descrepency it could result in a delay. Any delay and it will be automatically referred to the school adjudicator. It's a very slim hope but the only one. Being honest Knowsley Council, the Diocese and the Archdiocese has shit on North Huyton and the school. That also makes it worthwhile.
  8. I have never started a thread but this is quite important. I need to obtain a school accounts. Is this possible to request under Inspections Act to an LA. Or do I have another method. I am asking because I want to obtain by Wednesday. No harm asking on here.
  9. How you have the temerity to make a comment like that. Well you have what you wanted and it’s resulted in mid table mediocrity.
  10. I remember listening to the first in 77 on the radio eight at the time. They had it blasting out in the street, sure the commentator being Clive Tyldesley though I may be wrong. We had the most fervent frothing Evertonians living next door and across the street. In the middle of the same night they went out and painted in huge blue letters ‘EVERTON’ right down the centre of the street. It was still visible well after we had won our fourth , good times.
  11. I think there are two groups of people within our support and on here. Those who have a legitimate right to complain about our situation now, because they predicted this after Rafas sacking. And those that don’t and should shut up. Because their views (if not directly responsible) certainly made it easier for Purslow et al at the time.
  12. Remember when we used to play in champions league finals code. Honestly were you one of those who enjoyed them, or are you glad we’re well away from all that now. They were always pretty nervy affairs after all.
  13. Brilliant night that, remember waking in the morning, first few moments thinking did that happen.
  14. I hate pseudo intellectuals, there are a few on here who milk it. Those people will wake up in hospital to a nice glass of orange juice and a few pieces of toast, a brief and quite happy with the outrage it’s caused. As long as no Cleric goes along to give them a cuddle....... It’s not down to religion, it’s psychopaths.
  15. Good luck Rafa. Lets hope we get there (champions league) next year with Brendan, couple of signings, keep Suarez, few other teams in transition, surely we won't be far off.
  16. Think the season on paper has been not that good, however we've finished it very well and anyone who says they can't see an improvement in playing style isn't talking correct. I had to think about it but yeah, vote yes, a young manager, in reality we have to give him another season. I am more optimistic with him than not long back and I truly hope we may have a manager in Brendan who can finally put mine (and others) Rafa thing to bed. But time will see.
  17. Haha, just looked back. You fucking knob head, not just you though to be fair, quite amusing looking back at some of the utter twats that occupy the forum :wallbutt:
  18. Get rid of Reina then. We won't get that much for him. Whoever we do will be a step down but no problem because Everton / Arsenal finished above us this year. Also notwithstanding we need strength in other areas. Can't argue with logic, I won't even try.
  19. I can't see much they are doing is wrong in the main, we wanted to be self sufficient, by and large we have that, we'd have accepted that not long back. The stadium issue / expanding Anfield is taking too long and it needs firming up to the extent that people can actually see progress. They also need better management this side of the Atlantic, move the cunt Ayre back to commercial / preferably get rid. But we need better at the helm than him.
  20. I'd bin me wife for Rafa although he'd have to take, fuck that arse malarky. I'd pull out anyway and cum over his numerous troffies.
  21. I’d be devastated if he went to them. To me he’s been let down by so many at Liverpool, from fans to management (I would like Ian Ayre to crash his Harley into a wall, he sounds like an out of date Beatle or is that me, nonetheless I wouldn’t mourn the cunts passing). Those fans who wanted rid are inexcusable, I’ll say that forever, fucking knob heads. My wife was one of them, and I remind her again and again the stupid stupid fucking cow. Can she justify it no, much like all the others. Anyway not thinking of that, he won’t go there, they’ll get that twat Stubbs or the like.
  22. The majority of our support would now want him back in place of Brendan you fucking dickhead. FSG, Ayre !!! Just fuck off back to your imaginary executive box. Apart from that, getting late, night xerxes x
