  1. I thought you said you hadn't read it?
  2. I'm not nonchalant at all mate, I'm really worried that we're setting ourselves up for a second wave which will be worse than this one as there won't be any political will to lockdown again. And you're right, the infection rate is still way too high for track and trace to be effective (plus it's run by fucking Serco). The only bright spot for me is that the numbers in Scotland are pretty much halving each week- there's only been 2 new infections in the health board area where I live since Saturday and 44 across the whole country since Sunday- and Sturgeon is head and shoulders above Johnson. England looks an utter shambles though.
  3. You should do. It's well set out and a good warning not to be complacent about things at this stage. As for the mortality rate, no one knows what that actually is or will be, he's just extrapolating from available data.
  4. Yep. Getting close to dipping under 1000 new infections a day though, which (horrifically) is at least something positive.
  5. You been watching lesbian BDSM hospital porn too?
  6. It's almost as though trying to stop people infecting each other with a dangerous virus is actually quite a good idea
  7. Johnson's apparently getting some unrest at his handling of Covid-19 from his own MPs. Not so much at the thousands of deaths, the late lockdown, the PPE disaster, care homes, Cummings etc, more that he's not opening the economy and schools up more quickly and won't overrule scientists regarding social distancing. Death cult. https://www.politico.eu/newsletter/london-playbook/politico-london-playbook-were-going-to-the-zoo-fergie-time-culture-war-uk/
  8. You need to leave the poor man alone, he's very busy selling us all to the US- https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/jun/09/boris-johnson-trade-deal-us-chlorinated-chicken - and making sure we can do fuck all about it.
  9. Should be a short meeting. "Far too early." "Yeah, fuck that." "Same time next week? Sharon, can you ring down for the lunch trolley please?"
  10. Wow, an actual realistic post, and there are still fools hanging on to the conspiracy theories. Plus at least one dickhead ready to blame CV 19 for Everton not being able to expand and dominate the world like they were poised to.
  11. Well the deaths announced each day actually happened over a number of days, sometimes even weeks, so the last 5 days in particular on that graph will fill up over the next week or so. Also, that's hospital deaths only. As for the infection figures, they're only ones identified as a result of a test, the actual figures are unknown but obviously will be higher.
  12. Yep, they really should have kept it up for another few weeks. Dickheads.
  13. I'm starting to wonder if the outbreak actually occurred in Stenhousemuir. The hospital car park there was half empty when I went for an out patient's appointment in March; at the repeat in October, it was fucking rammed and I had to park miles away. Not definitive proof, but deeply suspicious.
  14. That's erm, a tad tenuous.
  15. There were 324 deaths and 1600-odd new infections reported last Tuesday. It's still coming down but pretty slowly.
  16. Wow, that's probably the last thing you'd expect, he's built like a brick shithouse. A little one like, but still.
  17. Real shame about Shaqiri. I wonder why he's been sidelined so much, he's looked pretty good whenever he's played and seems to have a good attitude.
  18. I never particularly found any of them all that attractive. The ginger one had nice tits though.
  19. Sadly you're probably right. All that guff about local lockdowns is just that, they've got no real intention of doing anything of the sort. Fortunately, I live in Scotland these days and Sturgeon seems to have both the autonomy and the will to do it 'right'.
  20. I was gonna say they're a small time club that wear blue shirts and play in the European and prospective Premier League champion's city, but sounds like you know.
  21. The figures invariably go up after the weekend, the number should be higher but hopefully a lot lower than last Tuesday. We're clearly through the worst of the first phase, but the new infection rate is still very high, especially in England. With the recent easing, and the track and trace looking like the usual Tory outsourcing cluster fuck, it's still a big worry that a second wave could get sparked off and we'd be unable to control it without a further lockdown.
  22. Yep. From the chart here- https://coronavstats.co.uk/uk. If you hover over the bars, you can see figures for previous days.
