  1. *raises hand* The ball has to be completely over the line for corners and throw ins too. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ball_in_and_out_of_play
  2. Ooh, the Taxpayers' Alliance has woken up and spotted a squirrel-
  3. Definitely. Hopefully, the 70% effectiveness is sufficient, as having two jabs to get to 90% would be a pain.
  4. They're such a bunch of snidey cunts, constantly trying to pit people against each other to disguise their own rank failings. The Tories are even worse...
  5. But the nation's credit card was maxed out, we could have turned into Greece, we can't go piling debt onto future generations (unless they're fucking students of course), lollipop ladies with gold standard pensions, the mess Labour left us, strivers versus shirkers...
  6. Plus it appears to be a lot more stable than the Pfizer vaccine and can be stored at 2-8°C rather than -80-odd.
  7. Nicholas Cage, which is useful because 90% of the stuff he appears in is shite anyway. I actually quite enjoyed Mandy despite him, then you get something like this- Jim Carrey is borderline intolerable when he's showing off and I'd quite happily watch Andie MacDowell burn to death and not feel a flicker of sympathy.
  8. Where did you watch it, Dougie? It's not on Prime or Netflix.
  9. Yes- https://www.news.com.au/national/crime/david-and-catherine-birnie-the-macabre-and-sadistic-moorhouse-murderers/news-story/d1937accb6dfdbb6cc89074e7eb7c241
  10. Yep, and fairly frequently before then too- https://www.11v11.com/teams/fulham/tab/opposingTeams/opposition/Everton/
  11. Hahaha, excellent thread, love the ending posts-
  12. Hanky Panky beyond a shred of doubt- https://www.theguardian.com/music/2018/aug/16/every-one-of-madonnas-78-singles-ranked
  13. Was that what we were supposed to be staying 'tuned in' for?
  14. I know what you mean. My lad called me through to watch a bit on the news about Covid, and the reporter didn't end by pulling on her Strap on Jack and getting down to business. It's no wonder regular terrestrial TV is losing out to online sources these days.
  15. She had some cracking stuff around then, I really liked Beautiful Stranger and this nearly robbed me of my cock. Then she released this, and looked every inch the ageing soccer mom desperately trying to cling onto her former relevance.
  16. So Corbyn had showed a massive improvement and was shouldered aside by that Tory lawyer fuck. If it'd stayed on the same trajectory, he would have been polling better than Starmer by now. Edit: Just noticed, who's this Davey fella?
  17. That's what I was thinking, it's a bit boring to be honest. She's done much better stuff than that.
  18. That's the one, yes, absolutely harrowing film, even though it was made for TV- it was shown in its full two parts over two nights on the BBC in the early '80s I think, and I could barely sleep after the first episode (I was only 15 or so). Some of the scenes still give me goosepimples even years later, Field was amazing, switching personae at the drop of a hat. My roommate's bird was a psychology student and she had the book it was based on, that was even more chilling with abuse and torture explicitly recounted. Then it came out once the author and Sybil herself had died, that it was very likely to be a complete fiction, if not outright fraud (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shirley_Ardell_Mason). Still, it doesn't take away the power of some of the scenes in the film. There was a remake a few years back, I think, but it didn't have any of the power of the original. This is well worth a watch, the film and book had a real effect on culture-
