I think people are overlookig the fact that Weds proved we haven't got the squad to compete of 4 fronts. It goes without saying i would have liked us to go on and win the league cup but the Spurs game proves we haven't got the players in our squad to win everything and by the end of the season i'd rather be in with a chance of the league and euro cup. I completely agree that the 2nd string were a disgrace to the travelling fans. Not being good enough is one thing but not even trying is unforgiveable.

Looks like people think other reds dont care that we lost. It's not that at all, last night proved beyond doubt that we haven't got the squad to compete on 4 fronts and, off all the competitions, this was the least important. It's certainly isn't not being arsed, it's being realistic.

I thoguht the worst thing about the game was that it was a team of our up and coming players and there wasn't on eEnglishmna let alone scouser. What a suprise there was no commitment.

Our priority is obviously the league and european cup and the one thing last night proved beyond doubt is that there isn't enough quality in our squad to sustain a challenge in all 4 competitions. With that in mind, i'm not arsed we went out although it goes without out saying i want us to win every cup we can. It's just not realistic with our current players.

The point is that it's not hard to find out where the players live. I'm not far from Reina and Torres and i'm also told Kuyt, Arteta and Alonso aren't far away either. If i know that i wont be hard for some scum bag to find out. Like i said, there's two main areas they live so it's not hard to work out. It could be anyone. Everyone know when were playing and it's pretty common knowledge the players all live in Southport/Formby or Allerton/Woolton. I got told by a fella in work that Torres was moving into the house that's getting renovated around the corner from mine and since then every time i've been in a taxi going past it the driver has said 'Torres is moving in there'. As a great man once said, Liverpool is the biggest village in the world.

Voronin wa awful when he played for us. He looked alright in pre season then well off the pace in competitive matches. Keane should be judged after a run in the side partnering Torres which is what we bought him for.

I think it works for away games against the top half teams but i'd rather see us play Gerrard in the middle with two up front for home games against teams lower down the table. With the attacking players we've got now we should be able to blow those teams out of the water like the Mancs an Chelsea.
