I do hate when people like the author of that article quote that crap from the Qu'ran, because it just allows people to believe that Muslims are more susceptible to raping women because their religion allows it. The fact is most of the religions from the same era have the same views on women. A quick Google search came up with these little gems from the Talmud (rabbinic discussions pertaining to Jewish law, ethics, customs and history).
It's also lazy to presume certain ethnic groups have a greater propensity for rape.
I think it's quotes like this and a whole bunch of others throughout the thread which has gotten certain people's backs up and started the 'racist' accusations. (Don't take it as a personal attack Robbie; your post was just the last one I saw that I could use as an example.)
What relevance does the fact that those animals are Somali have as to why they raped that poor girl? Why is it certain posters have felt that they are free to cast aspersions on an entire country of people because their mates' brother's ex-girl friend once met a Somali who salaciously touched her arse in a bar, and this rape proves they are all like that? According to the Fawcett Society, there were 5 times the % of women being raped in Canada than in the UK (77 women per capita vs 16 per capita here), so all Canadians are rapists?
Generalisations are very dangerous. I mean, how would we like it if were turned around?
For example, I'm guessing every poster here who is from or lives in Merseyside must be some sort of dole thieving, car stereo stealing, tracksuit wearing Scally, because it's in books and TV shows, and that stereotype must have truth in it right? I mean, I can't tell you the amount of times I've interviewed a Liverpudlian for a job and thought
whilst clinging onto my wallet.
In short - cut out all the "they're all like that" shit, and focus on the fact that those individuals are cunts who need to be anally assaulted with a barbed dildo...
