    I know someone who went for an audition on the XFactor. You have to go through an audition before hand with random judges before you can see Cowell and his henchmen.

    It looks like we're gonna find out whether players prefer a club or money. If they start to put crazy bids in for players. If they sign a few top players and started to become succesfull, you cant blame higher profile players from wanting to go there and play with the best

    Thats the problem mate. he dosnt need to get it. By looking at him and listening to him, this cu*t hasnt got a clue but he's just managed to sign Robinho ahead of Chelsea, when chelsea had already started selling shirts with his name on and Scholari as manager. He can obviously pull some weight and is used to getting what he wants.

    Although i agree that the yanks are a complete set of tools. I like to think that as business men, succesful business men, they would like to see their investment succeed to some degree. I may be being slighty niave but thats what i'm clinging too. I'm trying to see some good in this shitty situation. The last thing i want to see is my club sliding down the league.     Without getting too carried away ;). Thinking long term - say 10 years. If these 'big guns' continue to take over our teams, i can see a split happening within The Premiership. A more drastic split than already. e.g. 2 leagues within 1. Those with money and those without. If these power players start reccomending buying a team to their business associates/mates as a 'play toy' and a good way to spend their dosh. Something like this:- A - "yo dude, check this. Just bought a football team in England, Manchester City or sumthin??" B - "sweet, whats it like?" A - "its a laugh ye know lad, just spend some dough on players and that" B - "Laffin lad, might do that. Am gonna have a look. I like the sound of that Everton or Aston Villa, wotdya reckon??" A - "Go for it lid. Not much to it really if you've got the dough like" Like fantasy footy but with real money! Maybe not that drastic like, but judging by the earlier post about Torres, Ronaldo and Fabregas - i wouldnt put anything past these fellas
