  1. Forgot to replace Jil. Will have Jimmy Greaves
  2. I dunno, from reading the article, my feeling was Klopp was talking about discussions that had taken place, which I think every club was doing, with regards to forfeiting money to go to the NHS, charity funds or non-playing staff, and discussions that were taking place with the PFA, so I don't assume it is something that has actually happened. However, profits don't pay wages, cash does. I could well see us asking the players if they are ok with us to pay them quarterly rather than monthly, as that would be in line with when we get paid by the Premier League and Uefa, especially as we will be without the regular match day income.
  3. A lot of people make this mistake, you just need to remember that I am THE Woolster of all Woolsters
  4. I recorded it, and only just got around to watching this evening. Was great, a perfect accompaniment to the rum and ginger beers i was drinking. Wish the boy was called Rudy even more now!
  5. My girl Millie Small has lollipopped it https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-52557332 I created a ske/reggae playlist this week, and had a littlie sing along to that one
  6. I'll have to check when I'm logged back in to work, but I have a feeling I still haven't replaced, err, someone who I can't remember. If so, then I'll go Toby Young, see if my luck continues...
  7. Glad to hear your on the mend and it wasn't too serious Elite! I had a pulmonary embolism almost 10 years ago when I was 31. Passed out at a wedding, I thought I was ok, but I had turned blue, so they got me an ambulance... spent a week in hospital! Funnily enough, they thought the cause of the dvt was a really bad flu which I'd had for the 3 weeks before. Good thing I went to the wedding, as staying at home to recover from the flu was probably the sensible thing to do, but then I'd have been home by myself, and if it happened then, I may not have been able to phone 999.
  8. Was last on this thread only 11 days ago, but it was also only page 33. Anyone sum this up for me?
  9. I did say for instance, could be another wide forward. However, any 19 year old who has double digit goals and assists 2 seasons running in a top 5 league deserves all of the hype.
  10. Would depend on who we sign for me, for instance is we signed Sancho, then it would be best for him to leave, but I am a big fan and think he could score a load of goals in this team. Also depends on how much anyone offer for him as well I guess. If it is anything close to like £30m, I think its pretty hard to say no. I actually think the another loan but to a decent team in the Bundesliga would be a good move for both parties. A high pressing team that is in Europe would be ideal. Perhaps if we are speaking to Leipzig about Werner, then Wilson could come into the conversation.
  11. For the handful of people who might have a passing interest, here is my breakdown/simplification of the accounts into its main key figures.
  12. The latest accounts are now available to view here https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/00035668/filing-history In this set of accounts, there are £51m of administration costs which they do not break down what makes up those costs, so it is possible that they could put management charges in there, and we would not know about it. However, this goes against the other evidence of them trying to keep cash within the club and to reinvest all earnings back to into the club. Again, they have not taken out a dividend. Not only that, but the loan for the Main Stand which @dockers_strike strike mentioned, previously they were charging us interest on that as they had borrowed the money themselves and were charging us the same rate (2.44%), that has been transferred to a non-interest baring loan as per page 29 of the accounts. So they are making decisions which keeps cash in the club, so then charging the club for services just seems unlikely to me.
  13. In terms of the cash, I believe they pay prize money quarterly. In terms of revenues, I think they would have booked all the guaranteed revenues up to 31st May, and if that's the case, the majority will be in the figures released already.
  14. The shareholders of FSG may be getting a dividend, but the cash they use for it, if they do, has not come from the club. Up to the last set of accounts anyway
  15. Well, some of that £220m will be an increase in wages for the 11 players who had renegotiated contracts. That will be the same in the next accounts. As for the transfer fees, they get smoothed out in the accounts via amortisation, which will also be the same in the next set of accounts. So it may sound strange, but it won't make as big a difference as it sounds.
  16. I'm quite good at death pools, would we really want to risk it...?
  17. It's done deliberately because I don't like using what so much.
