  1. Regarding Slur Alex; I must addmit I comfort my self with the thought that I will live to see the day he finally dies. So do most of us. Until then; walk on.
  2. Oh how nice it would be to win the game at OT by a completely wrong decition in extra time. A pen given wrongly to us in Fergietime. Sorry, I am just so simple.
  3. Just in the nick of time. What would the next six months been like if no one remember to kick this tread of? Jesus! I don't even wanna think about it! Thank you mate!
  4. Jay was man of the match for me. He must have had he's best match ever last night. Just his bad luck Carroll would steal he's thunder with a goal I suppose. Carroll was obviously improving he's game but the opponents was to be honest just as crap as we were at Bolton. Never the less; I was really happy for both of the lads. You could easily see how their confidence boosted through the match. The taste of succeeding was sweet on them. Great report by the way, as always.
  5. Just curious, would the 45 prcent of the people on here who want him on loan also buy and wear his shirt from the supporters shop?
  6. Serbia international Dusan Tadic has attracted the interest of Bayern Munich following his impressive displays for Groningen in the first half of the 2011-12 Eredivisie campaign, Serbian source sportske.net reports. The Bundesliga giants are looking to add an attacking midfielder to their squad at the end of the season, and they allegedly see the 23-year-old Tadic as a valuable addition to their roster. Tadic joined Groningen from Vojvodina in the summer of 2010 and has since developed into one of the stars of the Eredivisie. Bayern, however, are expected to face stiff competition in the race for Tadic's signature as Schalke, Koln, Wolfsburg and Twente have also showed an interest in signing the creative midfielder. Tadic has a contract with Groningen until the summer of 2013, and an offer in the region of €7 million could be needed to lure him away from his current club. German Football - German football news, Bundesliga fixtures, Bundesliga standings, Bundesliga videos, Germany transfers. - Goal.com ... dar-report Last transferwindow this one is available for less tran 10mill. On a lot of radars. We should go for the pair of them.
  7. If we're to make an offer for Texeira, we should concider his Groeningen waitor as well. Dusan Tadic, Groeningen no 10, 23 years old left winger. On the radar of half the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich and Shalke among others. 6-7mill esimated value.
  8. Superb if true, but I cant possibly see us beeing close to a star striker without the press beeing onto it, one journo or another? Surely if we are talking Suarez standard something would be leaked? To everybodys comfort it should be mentioned; I am usually wrong in my assumptions. Allways!
  9. Superb writing. I really enjoyed this one. Keep it coming!
  10. Exellent tread, just about put into written system what most fans seems to be feeling and thinking. It looks to me its a general worry that British media wont do do us any favours bringing LFCs points to the public. An option not mentioned yet in this tread and propably underestimated is what you could expect from the foreign media. I just bet a few mediahouses on the continent would love to have a go at the FA and their mideavel idea of justice. Also, some of the supportersclubs branches overseas have a few sport journalists within their ranks. Keep in mind that this is a really hot topic all over, and the FA/Manc camp is not so massive abroad. I hope your post gets out in the paperstands, it surely deserves to!
  11. Spot on, but your press is just unreal and allowed to keep spreading the lies they feel necessary to smear LFC and the players. How it is possible to get away with this as a proffession is beyond me, and its about time LFC unleashed the lawyer. The press constantly stirring the shit sees that we'll never be able to put this behind us. Until we counter attack we seem to be far game to any newspaper which need to up is salesnumbers on the cost of alledged racism in/arround our club.
  12. Surely hope LFC takes this all the way. What is there to lose? An mideavel group of superiors beeing allowed to impose such abbuse on a person is simply unbelieveable. Somebody recall Monthy Pythons stoning of the poor man who said "Jehova". 8 games! On the word of a proven liar? On top of this we're more than likely to help the Mafia to the top of the table if we beat City tomorrow.
  13. Sorry if already mentioned in an earlier post, haven read all, but have read all 115 pages. Its said in the document Evra was in a state of shock after beeing kicked to the knee. Still he is concidered to be the most realiable of the two! If I where to pick between the two as neutral, Id say the man not in a state of shock got my wote. This cant possibly be over yet.
  14. Whoever we end up buying I hope we get someone from the toplist rather than some runner up for a short time sollution. I also hope we are done supplying Aston Villa and Newcastle the money to be able to compete with us. Gerrards return was much needed right now. He will add confidence to the playing eleven and also possibly highly needed guidance to our uncomfortable number 9. To be able to compete with the topteams we need a top striker. This striker is not found in Birmingham. We will be better off with Carroll rather some one from the mid table teams. If we are to buy, I hope we buy a proven top class striker. Expensive? Yes, very. But the overall plan is a top four spot, and the buy will then make it self worth the money spent.
  15. It looks as most would welcome a striker this January. A name I havent seen mentioned so far, havent read all comments, is Ola Toivonen who currently plays for PSV Eindhoven. His record is fairly impressive with 35 goals in 76 apps for the Dutch side. The fact that PSV hasnt been all they once was makes it all even more impressive scoring in every second game for a side which is barely top four in their league. I believe he was mentioned as a talent in the Rafa days, but went to PSV at the time.
  16. Edison Cavani has been an name leaping to mind the last few months for me. He´s on the national team with Suarez, and can enjoy CL with LFC/Suarez next season if he joins us in January. That should count for something in my opinion. The fact hes cuptied is hardly a problem atm either. Havent really seen him much, and didnt bother raiding You tube, but hes fairly tall compared to Suarez and hes stats for Napoli is about as impressive as Suarez was in Ajax. He wouldn be an easy deal either in January or in the summer, but it would be a step up for sure. To avoid pissing anybody off by suggesting he would be a great no.9 rather than Carroll, number 10 is also vacant, isnt it?
  17. Yep, our 9 is defect. We need it fixed or replaced. Suarez would be a happier man alongside a well-functioning 9 rather than a dysfunctional 9.
  18. Maradonna was playing the same type of game in Mexico -86. Flying in to the penaltyarea like a Hawaian cliff diver. After the world cup he was entitled the worlds best player only second to Pele.
  19. Just hope Spearing and Carroll get a good performance tonight. It would mean a lot for the whole squad in ways of confidence to see we are firing on all cylinders, even if some are injured and some have had a rough time upon til now.
  20. We´re going to hammer them! I see us finally playing to our potensial, and getting paid. This will be our payback for all the off-the post and outs this year. I see us winning 6-0. Simply because I´m not able to watch the match my self.
  21. Absolutely love Rafa taking a swing at Fergie in the media, leaving Kenny to the managing job instead of wastig time on "mind games". This can seriously become a classic.
  22. Apparently Man City has made a shock move for Howard webb! Ferguson refuses to sell.
  23. Just gutted after the horrorshow at WBA. We lack a lot, everybody agrees the lack of speed, and lack of ability to perform with whatever speed there is. But my biggest concern is what looks to me, the lack of interest. Players who openly tell us they want to go to other clubs always gets out. Players who openly shows on the field that they couldnt care less should be shown the door just as fast. Playing for LFC is a privelige, not just a job. If this isnt understood, they can all warm the chelsi bench. Talent isnt everything, passion is, and goes just as long as talent. From now and til next season is all about getting the deadweight out and the hungry talent in, and in time to prepare for next season. Walk on red men, tough we might still have some turbulence to deal with.
  24. What the hell has torres to complain about? He was treated as a god, paid a fortune every week, underperformed for 18 months and as it seems didnt bother to meet with the team for the social gatherings there were. How strange would it be to question he`s professionality? 5 games 0 goals. No wonder he wants to make excuses. I wonder who`s to blame for him underperforming now? I pitty him for the lack of common sense, and the lack of sensible people around him for good advice. He can always rely on Mongo for that now a days thou. Im happy hes sad face is gone, and just as happy we got Suarez and Carroll smiling in to Anfield. So long Sulky! Break a leg!
