  1. (1) Douglas Adams (2) Carl Sagan (3) John Smith. If he hadn't of died, perhaps Blair, Campbell etc wouldn't have got a foot in the door. And the country may well be a very different place.
  2. Document summary - Electoral Commission Just remember to get lots of teeth whitener in for the campaign.
  3. Forgot to add a couple of games to my original post. The original Scott Adams series of text adventures and the later Infocom games deserve a place on that list. Zork and Hitchhiker's Guide were so influential. Doubt they'll make it though if they aren't there already. And Kickoff. Still better than alot of footy games today. Top five.
  4. Some of those episodes look good fun. Hopefully they'll get around to Cleopatra vs an Amazonian.;) We had a great little show here in the UK called 'Time Commanders', which was along vaguely similar lines. It had a team of people taking charge of famous battles, and seeing if they could change the historical outcome. It was mainly historical - Rome, Carthage, Persia etc - rather than contemporary battles. Not sure if there was/still is a site for it, but the episodes should be on Youtube I think. It was a good watch if you like'd historical warfare.
  5. She would have made a far better Joker than Heath Ledger with that mouth.
  6. I tried to use the government's new swine flu hotline yesterday. It didn't work. All I got was crackling.
  7. That top 100 is about as legitimate as an MPs expense claim. Beachhead > Raid over Moscow ;) I'll chuck in Wizball and Cannon fodder from the sensible guys as being classics. Attack of the Mutant camels should get a shout. Star Raiders as well. And if Chuckie Egg isn't in that list then life isn't worth living.
  8. Have you considered being a celebrity? No qualifications or previous experience required. Jordan and Peter are getting divorced so there's at least one opening there regardless of which way you swing.
  9. Got room for a small one on the bench? Ian Wright.
  10. I'll see your Lehmann and raise you a Harold Schumacher.
  11. 28 Days Late. Romatic comedy. Young zombie couple come to terms with the news they are expecting their first child.
  12. I joined a little over a year ago - because I wanted to post something in a thread in the FF. Had been reading TLW for a couple of years before, but never really got around to signing up. I'm valiantly struggling towards double figures, but it's tough, very tough.
  13. A small drinks cabinet and a telescopic pole dancing pole. And nail clippers of course.
  14. Think Clint Eastwood deserves a mention. ( Don't think he's ever won best actor). The Unforgiven, The Outlaw Josey Wales, and the Dollar films were all cracking performances.
  15. I think one of the players may be Didier Zakora Bennett ref'd Man. City v Spurs on 18th December. Zakora was on 4 yellows going into that game. Was given a straight red for a nasty foul on Elano.
  16. True. I'd forgotten that he was at Parma. I just remember the rotund, barrel- shaped object at Leeds.
  17. Thomas Brolin Carlton Palmer Nigel Clough and Mirandinha as well I think.
