It's a very shite article for a normally excellent sports writer. He's made lots of assumptions in that piece, and clearly had a bug up his arse about something. He's never afraid to say what he thinks (which is a rarity in in the good ol' boys club of the English press) and rarely pulls punches - I just don't think he gave this article much thought. It is very emotive and irrational. He did do a great article against John Terry when everyone was praising 'JT', though. This, however, was a very lazy, contradictory piece of work and when he looks back on it he will realise what a cock he's made of himself.
