For what it's worth, I'm just playing FPTP's advocate here. My gut feeling is that PR is right. I'm just wary of assuming that anyone who opposes PR is automatically an enemy of democracy.

"Races" are not a thing; not in any scientific, biological sense. Islam is not "an ideology". There are hundreds of millions of Muslims with such a wide variety of different "ideologies" that some groups kill other Muslims over their disagreements. Muslims are pretty much like Christians in that respect. Racism is (basically) about assigning people into a group; ascribing a set of (usually negative) characteristics to that group; and treating the people who you have lumped into that group as if they really do have the characteristics you have ascribed to them. So, yeah, anyone who says, for example, "I'm not racist, but I oppose Muslims because they're homophobes" is a bit racist.
