It is impossible to know who would make a good manager by just looking at the way they play. It's a fact that if we can dribble like Maradona, pass like Molby and tackle like Souness we will be one hell of a player. Unfortunately, no one can, so we play to our ability to get the best out of ourselves. I believe Carragher knows the importance of keeping possession and controlling games, but he can't. We all know his plus and negative points. So rather than taking the risk as a central defender, he often chooses safety first. That doesn't mean if he ever jump into managerial he will tell his players to 'hoof' the ball all the time.

Was it Nordin Amrabat? I thought he did well too. Very enthusiastic and full of running.

for that system to be successful a manager need to tell the director every single details. how a player make his runs, how a player position himself, how a player doing his tracking back, how he fit in to the team etc2. it's not that simple u know, when you said attacking midfielder there are all kind of attacking midfielders. a manager, i imagine, will look to all that qualities, rather than just just say i want an attacking midfielder. so it's best to leave it to the manager who will of course knows what he wants and what is best for the team. if things doesn't work out, change the manager. director of football will only mess things up.
