  1. Just another conspiracy theory maybe, but after receiving a few 1,000 complaints after the inter game did baldy twat really have an option but to redeem himself? Do otherwise and we might have a boycott?
  2. I watch a lot of footy, been to european cup finals and semi finals but never in my life seen decisions go for a home team like ive seen the scum get at trad brick year on year. Seriously thinking never bothering stepping foot in the shithole again. Whats the point when the double standards of refereeing are so obvious?! Im not sugesting any corruption, its more a mindset the refs have that any decison against the scum is so fucking terrible its back page the next day and hes hung drawn and quartered. This mentality of protecting the club sky effectively elevated to greatness has to change....perhaps when they overtake us the cunts.
  3. I heard about what gerrard did before the game. Now I dont want the lad to come in for anymore stick for what he has done but he really doesnt help himself does he. Its the mindset which i can never understand - he should be fired up for a game like today but everything he did stunk of couldnt care less. Maybe its just this laid back persona he has, fair enough. But that is is not the attitude of a captain! Where's that scouse mentality lad for fucks sake?!!!
  4. If only the players had the mentality of the fans, I really thought we'd win today, no, i thought we'd blow them away as daft as it sounds now. Fact is, too many hid away. Babel tore the arse out of brown on a couple of occasions but even so he never 'believed' he could win the game for us as did too many in our side. Until we acquire the winning mentality we will keep losing against these cunts who to be honest are a good team BUT not a great one which makes it so fucking dissapointing!! When is gerrard going to step up to the plate in this fixture??
  5. I went today and when fergie brought 53 million pounds worth of talent on in the 2nd half it brought it home for me...we are further behind than ever before my friends and that fucking hurts.
  6. Cant argue with that. Before we know where we are its gonna be 10 years without a win against them. Its the not scoring against them in the whole of rafa's reign which is most unnerving. The thing is they seem to win us without being particularly special. Slur Alex knows how to play rafa....end of.
  7. Too many of our ex-players take for granted that they once had the honour of wearing the red shirt. And thats what it is.....an honour. The self righteous twat.
  8. 100% agree with that. Unfortunately theres no room for passion in the modern game. Its all about the new sky generation fan, spending money in the club shop, sitting down watching 'the game' whilst clapping occasionally like seals. We are at a pivotal time now where the very identity of not just the kop but the football fan in this country is losing all identity. At least in 306 theres atmosphere, singing all game and banter - all things we associate with the standing kop. The club and stewards are more stringent every year but the biggest problem we have now in terms of generating the sort of atmosphere kopites crave is some of the fans who are going now because its fashionable - these people diluting the atmosphere, knocking people getting behind the team are perhaps the biggest obstacle of all.
  9. Shite result, played off the park, its absolutely pissing it down and the police imposed a booze ban in the city centre all day. Fuckin brilliant
  10. No. The union acts for its members does it not, most of whom want rid of the americans.
  11. Im calling for the yanks to sell at every opportunity tomorrow. Im sure the RTK section of the KOP will do the same. Anyone who doesnt agree fine, just dont shout us down. If you dont agree, dont sing it...simple. Times up, we cant let the twats take us for a ride anymore.
  12. This thread is just so defeatist and does not in any way reflect the venom felt towards Mr Hicks. It calls for SOS to act NOW, to provide that umbrella under which everybody who cares about our club can unite and have a chance to help safeguard the future of LFC as we know it. The time for talk has stopped. Only direct action will count now. So I for one, like thousands of my fellow red men echo the sentiments of this threads call, lets be decisive, let us not stand by and watch Mr Hicks fuck us anymore. SOS as our union needs to get the aims specefic, starting with boycotts and protests. No time to lose, lets get decisive, lets be fucking ruthless.
  13. The formation is a fluid one and is perfect for someone like rafa who drums transitional play into his players. That is when posession of the ball changes, the formation will also change. I think Ancelotti was one of the first to develop it but the formation allows us to be solid when we lose the ball but also expansive and quick as an attacking unit when we win it back. Too many times in rafas first few seasons we were laboured going forward, that was 4-5-1. This isnt, its 4-2-3-1 and it shows in the speed at which we move forward and get bodies in the box.
  14. I give him shit last time but is there really any need this time? I think the directions our club and his career have taken speak for itself....nothing needs to be said. Polite applause and thumping defeat for him.
  15. I think the majority of supporters had nothing but respect for Moores before he sold the club. I remember being in monaco when we got kept behind and he got an ovation as he walked across the pitch towards us. I remember him looking shocked so he obviously didnt think he deserved it, before clapping back. The fact is though we have fell too far behind during his tenure at the club. Its a shame his legacy is going to be selling out to the cowboys but i do believe that he sold the club at the time he thought would be best for the club, he could quite easily have held onto us for another couple of years (which probably wouldnt have been a bad option looking at things since) but he never coz he didnt want us to fall further behind. I think his hand might have been forced by greedy shareholders behind the scenes wanting more money though.
  16. Maybe I am giving the lad too much credit but I just dont think he could be that naive. It makes sense for them to play the victim to help their not so hidden agenda.
  17. I dont think anybody really believes Hicks jnr went in the sandon for a quiet drink. Its just a thought but he might have gone in there to cause something like this though? Theyve learnt the hard way just what the press over here is like, so why not turn them against us. Also, what mesage is this sending out to the thousands who are already full of apathy and indifference towards the yanks? Divide and conquer......
  18. Or better still, just fill the place. I think only a certain amount of people can go in. The protests are good for keeping the discontent in the limelight, we need to let Hicks know were not going away, but ultimatley only direct action will be telling. A boycott could be the final push the negotiations with DIC need.
  19. At the recent meeting at the Olympia one word kept cropping up - 'Apathy'. The indifference the majority of our supporters show to the crippling effect Hicks and Gillette are having on our club is so dissapointing. The number of fans turning out to protest is deteriorating by the week. So is that it, lip service paid to the 'protest' lets all move on and allow these 2 cowboys to continue taking the piss. I hope not. After the game yesterday i walked out of the kop and seen hundreds queing outside the club shop. Are the majority of our fans apathetic or just clueless to whats going on? I thought that if they knew where that money was going maybe they'd think again before buying, or maybe not. The fact is too many are indifferent. Dont get me wrong its a persons right to disagree with a course of action but just dont moan when the guy who compared us to weetabix, said we could help support the texas ranger and dallas stars, who made us buy the club for him, and who lied to us time and time again, has set us back the lightyears he is on course for doing. The biggest battle we have to win, although ultimately against Gillett and Hicks, is actually in getting through to our own.
  20. A guy who takes you to 2 european cup finals in 3 years has earned his respect. Had one of the 12 chances we missed/their goalie saved gone in you might be feeling different. The shock has come at the worst possible time for rafa. I accept that the substituion of babel was stupid. It said more about kewell (who should be released now IMO) than it did rafa but he deserves more time. Even if it is because i dont trust anyone else at the club.
  21. Any talk of rafa leaving in the summer is premature, at least until the ownership of the club is sorted anyway. Who would have the balls to sack him after the public backing? And would anybody trust the cowboys to appoint a successor? Its a sad state of affairs when the club is devoid of any leadership at board level...the only result is that until that changes i believe rafa is actually above the sack.
  22. I think we should 'lose' those particular players from our squad then because as professionals they owe a duty to keep integrity and to do their utmost best for the club. Who could we realistically get who could do better than rafa on the budget he would have under the current owners?
  23. Just following orders blah blah blah....just as bad as those who dish them out. Power triping cunts
  24. The dregs left of the season now are:- 1. Finishing 4th 2. Having a good run in the champions league 3. Stuffing the shite at home 4. Winning at the scum 5. Driving the yanks out (surely the most important aim?) And to think i was predicting a title tilt back in september
