Much thanks to everyone here. Much appreciated. Its actually much easier to talk to people who dont know you or judge you than you friends/family/work colleagues I went to a solictor and she charged me 180 quid for one hour and said how it would cost me thousands (Im not rich at all) - and that was really depressing Thanks for the advice, problem is I am embrassed about talking to people. Although I feel terrible, I just kinda make excuses for her and ut awkward. I dont think I could trust women again, I mean I knew her for like most of my adult life (I`m in my early thirties), but I feel a bit of a mug. the annoying thing is she wont move out, and wants me to buy her out of the home we have the only question really i have is this - would any of you use this moment to like move away from where you previously lived (like the area I live in) and start afresh - or is too much change bad? Thanks again to everyone - I hope in like two years or twenty years or whenever I`m "normal" again I`ll look back at this thread and laugh Thanks

No thankfully It amicable at the moment. But am really down about it. The reason I asked the question as you get lots of advie - when and how to move on - but actually are there are any practical things to do to make the pain better

As other people said on this thread - running is very addictive I was/am v unhealthy but managed to do a 10k this year, and had never exercised in my life (and I`m in my thirties) My advice would be to listen to your body on rest - really rest if you need to and dont train on an injury. I did a stress fracture trying to do the Marathon recently, and that was the combination of Running through a injury (which infact was a stress fracture) and Wearing the wrong shoes My advice is that its worth having a gait analysis thing, because basically you`ll be surprised the difference a good trainer makes Good luck and look on runnersworld which has lots of tips and stuff
