  13. Excuse me DS I have been on the dry since 2009 - im only drinking with you on saturday cause i feel sorry for you.. I am looking very young & youthful! Whilst enjoying the drug free life! albeit a tad dull... i wont lie to you...
  14. I'd no doubt be up for it so that doesnt bother me. No seriosuly I dont think i'd have the balls to do it anyway.. it would make things very cheap though.. Saying that as Remmie said I could always just stick to the female hosts.
  15. Has anyone come across or ever embarked on this latest phenomenon? It's basically a community of couchsurfers all over the world who invite you to crash on their sofas as you are travelling. It sounds pretty dangerous IMO, but im still really intrigued. Apparently the official website is set up with the same dynamics as ebay where people rate you as a host or comment on the couch surfer themselves. Mental. Im reading the book 'On the Couch' by Fleur Britten and its quite amusing.. Although if i ever thought about trying it out I possibly wouldn't opt for doing it in Kazakhstan like the author!
  16. Wendover is nicer than Aylesbury in my defence.. I just say Aylesbury because people have normally heard of it. Usually they have heard of it because it is an utter shit hole.
  17. Got goosebumps reading that! That's brilliant mate, nice one.. Im fortunate enough to have a very old friend who i havent seen in years move out there and she said she would be more than happy to show me around, im sort of hoping I might get a couple of nights digs out of her too, as she has her own swimming pool - that would be a touch! that was all really uselful TOTK -cheers fella!
  18. Im travelling from New York to Miami in June/July, and honestly Miami just excites the gonads off me! I actually cant wait! .. I reckon ill be there for at least 10 days and will be staying in hostels.. any recommendations would be appreciated.
  19. That looks a bit flasher than mine but that's got to be a good thing i guess. Breville has never let me down in both the toast and tea making department, plus i think they look pretty smooth too. I am a stickler for having evenly browned toast. I absolutely hate it when its still bread at the top. Sacrilege.
  20. What can I say about 2009, bit of a weird one for me. Started off well, got back together with my ex boyfriend (the proper ex, not the stalker) this was our 3rd and final attempt of making a go at it and we failed (again). At least I have no regrets. I even think we will manage to friends again. We had planned to go travelling together, clearly this is not to be the case now but I am still going! So in that respect getting back with him gave me the push I needed to pull my finger out and finally start saving. I stated a new contract in Harrow which resulted in me not being able to use the internet, hence not being around on here for the majority of the year. A positive thing for you lot no doubt. I finally gave up smoking weed!! I’m 5 months off it now and feel like a new person. I have saved a fair bit of money cause I moved back in with olds and I have now booked my round the world trip. I leave in June 2010. So in reflection I see 2009 as the foundations for 2010 which is sure to be the greatest year of my life.
