I have a Polish girl. They're great. Baby due on Thursday though, that's not so great. 5 hours in hospital last night because she popped her mucus plug while having a shit. My experience for our age is that POF and Tinder are a waste of time. The women in our age range are wasting their time on younger men who make them feel young, but only want a shag. If you use Tinder, swipe right on everything unless they're hideous or your sister. For the few that bother swiping right on you, you can review and bin them if you don't like. Match is crap because both have to pay to interact. I paid for the "contact me free" business, but it wasn't worth it as I still had to put in the grunt work. It is the only dating website I got laid on though. It is where I met the Polish girl.

She picked me up from work yesterday. We were following a double decker bus up the road, passing parked cars. All she had to do was keep up with it and cars on the other side of the road wouldn't be a problem But no. She kept slowing down when cars came past. Mostly because she was further over than the bus. At one point she came to a complete stop because a car pulled out a little bit. All she had to do was drive round it. I thought the car behind was going to go into the back of us. No way they'd have expected it. She has to drive an automatic because having gears is too much to deal with while driving. She'll never drive into anyone, but she'll cause havoc behind her.

Must be a guaranteed suck treat if you get to the house. Single mums tend to be gagging for it. So I'm told.

It doesn't really matter what money people have, they'll always spend it. My Dad did overtime and my Mum had a part time job in the evenings. We never had a foreign holiday. It was camping for two weeks in Devon. Some of my clothes were from jumble sales. Presents were out of the Kay's catalogue and paid for on the weekly. We only ever had one B&W TV. No phone. It's all come a long way, but the last 20 years or so has created unaffordable housing and an expected standard of living. Childcare is so expensive that unless you've both got good paying jobs, it's not worth going back to work for one of the parents.

It's a hard life.

I've got a Nest. It's supposed to connect with Google Now so it'll turn my heating on when it realises I'm going home. She's always there at the moment, so no idea if that works.
