  1. If there is one thing I have learned from this world cup is that the majority of footballers are total cunts.
  2. Not bad, not good either: He's in his 60's and has never won a title in a major league; Very little longevity other than Malmo; He didn't last long at either Udinese or Inter Milan; Looks like he wasted alot of money at Blackburn; Not suitable at all for LFC!!!!!!!!!
  3. Kenny knows Hodgson isn't good enough.
  4. Hodgson can fuck off... not good enough for Liverpool. Purslow fuck off with Woy.
  5. He's had a transfer budget at Liverpool... anyone stating otherwise is mental: Keane 20m, Aquilani 20m, Torres 20m, Mascherano 18m... that's alot of money.
  6. Johnson and Mourinho don't get on well at all and there were issues between them at Chelsea... Marcotti obviously didn't do his research when he made up the rumour that Johson was Mourinho's back up plan if he didn't sign Maicon.
  7. I'm shocked that a nation of 45+ million hasn't got a good left sided midfielder in the first 11. I'm equally shocked by how easily England give the ball away. The USA matched England last night and had some good chances to win the game. Stevie played well but should be supporting the striker (funny how England managers never get slated for not playing Gerrard in centre mid, and it is equally funny that Rafa never got any credit for playing Gerrard in withdrawn striker position in the first place). Carragher is being found out more and more over time... this is deeply worrying. Anyone else feel that Johnson could be a great right mid?
  8. Well done Rafa, and good luck at Inter. Shame the last season didn't work out but the move will be good for all concerned.
  9. I do not want to lose either Gerrard or Torres (I'm unfortunately resigned to losing Mascherano) but just imagine if we could reinvest the proposed £120 milllion for Gerrard, Torres and Mascherano... how about Delfour (Liege) £25m; Jovetic (Fiorentina) £25m, Diarra (R Madrid) £15m, Hilguain (R Madrid) £30m, Kjaer (Palermo) £12m... and money left for a left back. Youth, pace and ability in abundance. Yes you would probably need to write off a season to let the new team blend together.
  10. Be great if it was true, but it has been a while since I've seen pigs flying.
  11. Have you ever watched the smug cunts of football saturday (or what ever it is called)? They hate Liverpool to the core and would love to see us do a Leeds. There is definitely a hope that we will end up with a shit manager.
  12. I wanted Rafa to go because the evidence was that he had lost the confidence of many of the senior players. He is a much better manager than Houllier.
  13. I agree that a title challenge can be mounted. The key of course being to keep Masch, Torres, Benayoun and Gerrard and to hope they find some form. Aquilani should contribute more this season. Maxi should also find his feet. Hopefully Johnson will find some of his early season form. That of course is alot of hope. Jonvanovic will give us an option for the left and up front. Sell Babel, Kuyt, the Greek and Riera. This should raise around £20m. If we believe what Maddock says (£15m available) that would give us £35m which would allow us to go for Kjaer to help tighten up the defence and Turan to give us an attacking edge. This would of course eat up almost £30m, so there would be alot left over for a left back and a back up striker. Would anyone give Babel one last chance to develop under a better manager? I know I'm in dream zone but the removal of Benitez does give us the strong hope of a stronger team dynamic emerging. Afterall we are only three players short (four now Aurelio gone) of the team that took United to the wire in 2008-2009.
  14. I totally disagree. Kenny loves this club and is a true legend. If he takes the job it will because he cares deeply for the club. He has little to gain and alot to lose. Many pro-Rafa fans seem to be putting Rafa before the club. Rafa was always standing on the shoulders of giants, and one of those giants is King Kenny!
  15. Not a bad article and well reasoned.
  16. Mid season I was still defending him. As the season wore on it just became obvious that certain players weren't playing for him. Hopefully we'll put Kenny in place for a while (Sammy Lee just fills me with dread) to steady the ship.
  17. I would say it is more like he never plays him for the fact he is not a work horse.
  18. He is a quality player that has scored some very important goals (away to R Madrid) and has accepted a role of bit part player. Has always been a superb impact sub with the ability to change a game. We need more players like Yossi and fewer players like Kuyt, but unfortunately we have a manager who only seems interested in work rate. First touch and skill don't seem to matter. I'm sure Gerrard and Torres will be delighted to see one of our few creative players leave to a rival. Rafa needs to go :telloff:
  19. Scott Parker has bugger all pace. Judging by the video posted by milankakabaros pace certainly doesn't seem to be an issue.
