Did anyone notice that the numbers on the back of the shirts were different against Haifa compared to the community shield game? I want the Champions league numbers, coz they were cooler. It's been said before, but here i go again: Pennant had more crosses than anyone in the PL last season(playing for a shit team), he's more than decent... I also think we might get both. Rafa will want to switch between an attacking wing-back(Alves) and the normal backline with finnan and then pennant attacking

surely you agree we need another striker. I do believe in our players, but they can only do so much. Winning it with the squad we have today(before any new signings) is possible but not likely. I just feel that we're so close, pisses me off that it's down to money. We need to class players, one on the right, and one more striker. Then we are ready. Maybe we'll get that this summer, maybe not. Im guessing not, and thats why i dont believe stevie will be lifting nr 19 next year

Im sure 90% in here disagree, but we won't win it next year. I dont think we're strong enough up front. . . We have new players who will need to adjust, some of them will probably be flops (inevitable). We're just not there yet imo. Another top striker and a world class right winger would make it possible though. But if you dont have the financial muscle you just have to settle for 2nd. If Rafa should manage to win it though, it would be an amazing achievement. Fingers crossed. As long as we finish above Manure i'll be satisfied with the manager and players.

The total number of football players in the US is larger than any other nation. It will get more popular. Now the parents think it's a good sport for kids, but when the kids who now play, get older interest will rise. Sooner or later some really good players will come out of it. Luckily Parry has already realized just that.
