  1. I´m quite sure we´ll loose. They are fucking great at home, just steamrolll everyone. But if we were to win, it would be massive. Actually, if we win there I think we will win the league.
  2. Always better to play City with him out, but it´s not like they don´t have options really.
  3. Thought about this thread yesterday. As annoying as the Hull-game was, I´m happy with the 13 points so far. From the last three I´m most nervous about Cardiff. It´s extremely important that we beat them, and I expect we will, but to drop points would be a disaster. For me the games at Stamford Bridge and Emirates are just possible bonus points. Great if we get some, but not games that I expect us to win. But if we perform like yesterday anything is possible.
  4. Would normally say that sacking him is premature and that Spurs should be more patient. But Spurs were tactically extremely naive yesterday. We found space behind their back four again and again, but AVB did nothing to prevent it from happening. Makes me wonder how much he really understands about football. And he seems to have lost the dressing room, they won't fight for him one bit.
  5. One thing is certain, we should never ever play Skrtel at the left side of the defense. He´s always been shit there. Remember he used to play there when paired with Carra and was always shit. When played on the right side or as the middle of the three he can be great. Agger or Sako should be the only options for the left CB spot.
  6. You can blame the manager, Sterling, Moses, Lucas, Henderson, Alberto etc all you want. But we won't win when senior players and top earners don't turn up. Especially Johnson and Suarez been absolutly awful today. Indefenisble.
  7. We'll loose this from some stupid defensive error. Got a terrible feeling about this game.
  8. That Sagbo is about the slowest player I've seen. Can't tell if he's walking or running.
  9. Kolo's shitting himself everytime his on the ball.
  10. Terrible first half. Only player who deserves any credit is Flano, our best players. Some senior players letting the team down, both Johnson and Suarez been awful. Luis barely managed a successful pass.
  11. When it comes to fuck-ups, Ayre is nothing compared to the useless clown that is Rick Parry.
  12. Genius Brendan. Got us climbing the table without even playing.
  13. If we get 20 from those matches we´ll be on 40 points halfway through the season, with most of the hardest away games played. I would obviously be delighted with that, as we´d be favorites for the title, but I doubt it´s realistic. I will be happy with 15+ points, top four will be within reach then.
  14. Must say I´m baffled by the negativity on this site. I was pleased by the performance today, thought we played well. Newcastle scored two fluke goals, but hardly had a chance apart from that. We could have easily scored five and were wasting chances again. If you compare this match to some of the dire shit we´ve endured in the last years we look like Brazil. And we´re two points off the top for christ sake!
  15. Newcastle are proper shit. Their players look like they can't be arsed.
  16. Great result and second on the table! 5 points from 3 away-matches so far, that is impressive. I was especially happy with how we reacted to their goal. Instead of panicking, we passed the ball around, controlled the game and killed off their momentum. They never really managed to pile up any pressure after that and I didn´t think they looked like they would score another. Great professionalism from the players that.
  17. Just discovered I hadn't voted in this poll before. I'm now in the 36.66% miority that's in the right. Feels good.
  18. This thread is at least six months premature. We do this again and again, write them off and then they come back. I agree the signs are good, but it's still early.
  19. A sushi-commercial? That's put me off sushi for a while. Very weird.
  20. This might sound strange, but I think it's time Luis proved how good he really is. He's being described as among the best in the world, almost in the Messi-Ronaldo class. But in some ways it's easier to stand out in a poor team that is set up to your strenghts. Now he has to shine in a much better side with more strings to play. A truely top world-class player will lift a side from good to great, or in our case from "maybe top four" to "at least top three". If motivated I think Luis can do that.
  21. Is this Herrera any good then? Also, have the chavs managed to get any good chants going for Mata? If not, he must be pissed off. He's got to have one of the easiest names a player could have, rhymes with everything. Plenty of decent efforts just in the last pages of this thread.
  22. Right, I apologise. Beating the cunts and looking at the table makes me behave like a teenage girl.
