I don't Know where you have been eating your steaks when you come over here, but I'd try somewhere else next time. The food in general can be very average and after living here four years I would kill for some decent lamb, but the beef is very good.

Just got back from the movies this really is a good film. The story line is more straight forward than the first 2, but it is still just as good. Best movie this year IMO.:thumbup:

Alot of your prices seem off. Quaresma looked like he was going to A Madrid before we got involved for 20-25M euros which puts him around about the same price as what alot off other players have been going for this summer. So there seems to be a problem of some sort with the player. Don't get me wrong I'd be happy if he was to come here, skill wise he'd help the team out. I'm just a little tired of desperate people making out he's one of the best players in the world, when he clearly isn't.

For me it's not a question on whether he is a good player or not, because he obviously is. It's a case of should he be playing for for us given his last club. On that the answer is normaly no. BUT given the fact that Rafa seems to want him, and SAF is not to happy about the situation I think we should give it a go. The only thing that seems a little strange is the fact he wants to come here in the first place, for all the trouble it will course, for a player it doesn't seem worth it, unless there is another motive. I agree Mascherano is a great player, but will rafa be willing to part with 17m next year to keep him. I just think the reason he's kept everyone who play's CM is that if Momo improves his passing, and Lucas settles, Alonso and Gerrard will have 4 years left on their contracts he may not feel the need to buy him. Of course this is all way off yet, but I think everyone will get a chance to prove themselves in midfield, and with Mascherano not being a definate for the future, why put his name on the team sheat first, when we have so much talent signed up. We all know how Rafa likes to keep his options open.

When it comes to picking who's going to play in the centre, I bet Alonso's name will still be the first name down. Gerrard will still spend alot of his time on the right, and I'm not sure if Rafa see's Mash as a long term option at the club after this season.
