  1. Gary is worried he'll be saint and greavsie doing the endsleigh.
  2. Gary Neville might as well fuck off as well trying to play some sort of morality card. Players are getting paid quarter of a million pounds a week in this league. His club were forerunners in this. It's an immoral vulgar business and this will be the next evolution to squeeze more money out of it.
  3. The super league is coming in one form or another, and we need to be there. Probably no point moaning about football not being the same any more, that ship sailed in 1993. I don't like it as much anymore but I'm still here. Newcastle, Everton, Villa and formerly big clubs will be fucked over in the near future as well. Couldn't care less about them
  4. Its a concern that we've let the team remain that static. The front 3 were far superior then, the midfielders were fitter. We are letting the core of the team grow old together.
  5. One thing is for sure, this team can't be fixed with sell to buy. We've let a world class team get old together, and now there are about 4/5 new players needed to keep them at the level they were at. Fuck about for another season and we'll drop off even further.
  6. Hindsight is 20/20 but If he had started instead of Keita in the first leg things could have been very different. Same for the Everton Anfield game. Sometimes you just need someone to set the tone early in a game.
  7. From what I have seen of him Jota needs to be in and around the goals, not out wide. We needed a finisher in there. Couldn't fault the effort tonight. Shit finishing is costing us for months. Fair fucks to Milner setting the tone. Proper player
  8. Milner showing that a bit of balls still goes a long way.
  9. Should have at least a couple of goals. Finishing is woeful. Played very well but worth fuck all if you can't score
  10. Sad state of affairs but PSG are the best bet now to stop City.
  11. This is the type of carry on that got us into the mess we are in. Weakening a second area of the team to marginally(at best) improve defence. We just need hope the rest of the team being at full strength can cover the weakness of the centre of the defence.
  12. Obviously won't happen but Kane would take us to a whole new level. We'd also get way more sympathy from VAR if he was here.
  13. These are probably the best results we could have asked for.
  14. He lost his man and nearly conceded an equalizer after his goal. He isn't a good defender, unfortunately no time to experiment with midfield with every game needing to be a win
  15. Pain in me head from the stress of that. Great result. Trent can't defend but superb goal. Fuck the ref, fuck var, fuck villa the time wasting counts. Another favour later please Woy.
  16. An amazing display of time wasting. Mourinhos Porto would admire this
  17. They even let Jota move a frame forward to get that one "right" VAR has sucked every bit of enjoyment from the game. Seriously could be doing better things with my time that getting worked up over a rigged game
  18. Imagine, Real Madrid will be the good guys.
  19. What to do with Trent is not exactly a problem, but its something that needs to be figured out for the long term. A this stage I think he is what he is, a potentially a world class attacking right back/wing back but a poor enough defensive one. He'll never be a Maldini, but neither were Dani Alves, Roberto Carlos and they did ok. Its fairly important that the system around him protects against what he isn't good at and amplifies what he is good at. He absolutely needs two fast centre halves, and a disciplined midfielder on his side to step over when he is after heading up the field. Last night he had a slow inexperienced player next to him, and Naby Keita who seems not to have a tactical bone in body offering protection. Still doesn't forgive the fuck ups against a weakened Madrid but we are definitely being hamstrung missing the first choice CBs and Hendo. Our full backs are the outlet, and that no longer works. For the last few years we were always more than the sum of our parts as the system was almost perfectly tuned, take out those players and we got very average very quickly.
  20. He's not fast in a long sprint. But he did help us gain some modicum of control in midfield once he came on. We still weren't great but light years ahead of the shit show that preceded it.
  21. He got the ball late in the first half with open ground in front of him and he just slowed it down and went sideways. He should have drove on to fuck. Zero intensity. Not arsed. I'd say that was the moment Klopp said let's get this clown off the pitch.
