No worries, just seen she was supposed to finish at 11.45pm. So she actually got 15 extra minutes, right up to the licenses curfew being enforced.

Every outdoor gig has to be granted a music license from a council, and they have to stick to whatever rules that their event has. https://www.somerset.gov.uk/community-leisure-and-tourism/glastonbury-festival/ Sure, there are events going on all night outside of the main stages and it’s not very ‘Rock and Roll’ to stick by the rules and all that nonsense but the organisers run the main stages to those rules by the minute, so that future ones are allowed to happen. I played an outdoor festival last night and we were told we had to finish at 11pm on the dot due to that festivals license, otherwise the sound would go off. Fine, you turn up on time and don’t take the piss. Plus, if one performer is allowed to overrun past midnight , then others will take the piss too. Daft girl, probably her biggest ever gig and she fucked it all up. Turn up on time and not leave your fans short. Bet she’s a fucking nightmare to work with.

You work with curfews all the time with outdoor gigs. She’d have known the rules beforehand. Only her fault for being 30minutes late and only getting to do half your set. Get your hair done earlier in the day, which is an absolutely ridiculous excuse for a headline slot at Glastonbury. Very dickish thing to do to your own fans. Even Axl Rose could turn up on time. Axel Rose is 61, of course he’s not going to have the vocal range he had in his 20’s to let him hit those ridiculously high notes. It is what it is. The question for me is there really no better band in the world right now to headline the pyramid stage on the Saturday night?

Wonder if channel 5 are still airing their ghoulish documentary tonight as planned.

Good Hope the rest of the players are pissed off at themselves too and do all they can to ensure this is a one off. Some of their attitudes and performances at times have been well below what’s expected. I want us to channel that anger and fucking smash everyone next season in the league for taking the piss.

Quite enjoyed the final episode, but a poor series overall. Can see they are setting up Series 4 to maybe replace the (cancelled) Rangers of The New Republic show.

Better episode but it all feels a little too late and has followed the same path as the ending of the last series. Ie, last episode whereby someone needs to be rescued from the baddie again.

If Klopp is backed and all this talk about ‘next season’ the pressure is really going to be on and any further blips 23-24 will only be magnified. Not sure this is going to end well if so. I hope it really is a blip but there does seem to be a deeper rooted issue given how long the team have been serving up these performances.

Got to be honest, this season so far hasn’t grabbed me yet.
