'Four Kings' was a famtastic book. Picked up Teddy Atlas' book yesterday and at the half way stage i'm pretty fucking impressed. PBF has fought Oscar at 154 and Manny fought Margarito at 150 was it? So both are capable of making a fight with Sergio happen but neither will risk it. Again, a fucking joke. Manny will murder Marquez and Floyd will teach Ortiz a lesson and then i honestly don't know where either will go. Floyd will probably take another 18 months off and come back when he needs the money and Manny will probably fight Ortiz after Mayweather schools him. Marquez and Morales hurt him time and again at much lower weight classes and these days he's walking through shocking Cotto uppercuts and Margarito bombs as if they are featherweights while his punches seem faster and more powerful than ever. He needs to accept the tests and get on with it instead of coming up with bullshit excuses. Or fight Martinez. Neither will happen and that's why his career, like Mayweathers, will always be tainted in my eyes.

There's no sense in selling him. We'd get no where near what he's worth due to his injury record and even if he is only fit for 15-20 league games a season he's our best defender by a mile. The difference to our football when he is out is ridiculous, wasn't there a recent stat that with him in the side we had a stupidly better record than when he's out? We don't have enough quality in that area of the pitch to get rid of him at the present time. If we had another defender of his ilk then selling him would be more realistic but the fact is that we don't. The thought of selling him and leaving Carra, Skrtel and Soto as our 3 main centre backs is horrible, none of them come close to him right now.

Bad result but fuck it, we're 6 games unbeaten and have 2 weeks to get the likes of Agger, Gerrard, Carroll, Cole etc fit for the next league game. Always thought today would be a struggle after mid week, some players looked dead today and we know some had knocks. Throw in injuries to Agger and Gerrard who are both so important at home and it was much more of a difficult game than it should have been.
