Are there any legal guys on here? If so, can you explain what 'NOTICE TO VACATE' means. My girlfriend had a minor car accident and is going to small claims court. However, both parties have requested they cannot go in August (due to pre paid holidays). The court have told us that due to the 'Notice to vacate' we have to pay 65 quid to change dates. When we questioned this, the clerk looked sheepish and almost apologetic, if to imply its a scam to generate funds. Does anyone know if its a scam or 'normal' proceedure during holiday times? Cheers in advance.

Ive travelled to most places in the Uk through work and the worst place for scumbags, gun crime and utter shit is Anfield, Liverpool. I've lived there all my life so I know. Too close to Norris Green for example. Hardly any police. And finally within the last 5 years at least 10 shooting and a murder by stabbing that I know about (A priest by the way INSIDE a church). It make me laugh when people tell me how great Liverpool is (refering to the team) and expect it to be an oasis in a great place. It aint. Take all the good people out(and the ground) and fucking blow the place up.
