    Yeah it's weird. On my stag do in 2010 I had 7 people plus me, who were all really close mates. It was boss. There were other people I could have invited but I swerved it. Going to one in April for my mate, and some people he is inviting keep on trying to invite their mates who he doesn't know. One lad wanted to invite 2 lads he works with and got all offended when he said no because he didn't know them.

    Speaking to a lad in work here about the footy and he starts banging on about how much he hates John Achterberg. I say ' what the Tranmere keeper ' ( didn't know he was at us now as coach ) and he just starts fuming ' I hate him worse than Gary Neville, I hate his fucking face, I can't stand him. ' When pushed on this, he can't give a reason why. He just knows he hates him. We got any other irrational hatreds of footballers/managers on here? And please, don't say people like Gary Neville or Joey Barton, I'm thinking of people the majority would find inoffensive.

    Am I the only one who has had Root Canal and thought it was fine? I've had it twice, the last time over 3 sessions as they couldn't find one of the roots, and it was no problem. Numbed me up, went home had a few tablets when the numbness wore off and was ok the next day. Just a little bit tender. The only problem I had with it was the dentist burning my lip with that little poker thing they put in there to burn the root. In fact, apart from fracturing my foot twice and my arm once, I've been relatively pain free. The odd man flu episode aside.

    Either you have had or someone you know has had? My mate worked in KFC in Aintree when he was 18. His job for 3 months was ' to be in charge of the beans, ' every day for 8 hours he would stand there and just make beans and dish them out. He can't eat them to this day. His supervisor said he was a good worker and he was going to give him more responsibility and said he was in charge of beans and gravy. He quit that day.

    What gigs have people got coming up this year? Any you want to go to? Or a review of any you have been to this year. So far I've got : 1) The Black Keys at the Manchester Apollo 7th Feb 2) Noel Gallagher at the MEN 13th Feb 3) Coldplay at the Etihad 10th June 4) Bruce Springsteen at the Etihad 22nd June 5) Stone Roses Heaton Park 30th June. I'm thinking of going to see Elvis Costello in May. Got tickets to see Stuart Francis in Warrington as well, which should be decent.
