Fuckin hell how far have we fallen when people are more concerned about our pr and media relations than winning football matches.

You have to make curry with a base sauce like the resturaunts and takeaways do. You make a big batch of it and freeze it and you can make pretty much any curry with this method. I've been doing my favourite chicken and lamb madras with it and I recon its better than my takeaway. This is the basesauce recepies I use. C44 Curry Base Sauce once you've done that use any of the recepies on that site. Oh and get a proper aluminium curry pan like they use in the takeaways. You can get them in that chineese supermarket on great Howard street. Like this one. Pans, spoons and experiments with base sauce. Enjoy peeps you won't regret it. Oh and this is the madras recepies I use but with the c44 base sauce. C41 Chicken Madras

That's fine. There's nothing wrong with having a bad memory,and loads of my mates who have been going the games for years will regularly come up to me and ask about a game 20 years ago and most of the time I can remember. But barret is a pro journo who's paid to write about lfc and football in general, so you would think he would at least have unquestionable knowledge. Some of these twats are the reason why we've got Brendan Rodgers as manager instead of a European cup winner or a 4 times league championship winning manager. Our owners consult with people like them and people like Atk, and as I say no wonder were in the position we are now.

Barret hasn't got a clue IMHO. I've heard him being interviewed loads of times on lfctv talking about old games and blatantly getting his facts wrong. If he went head to head with me on lfc stuff between early 70s and early 90s,basically our era, he would loose. And the liikes of him and that other tosser that works for the times, the one that reckoned we were being bought by china,actually influence the thinking of our clueless owners. No wonder we are so far behind.

Top report as usual Dave. The bit about Suarez in training dosent surprise me as I remember seeing some footage of him in training for Ajax and he was going mad to try and score past the goalkeeper and when he missed,it was like he'd just missed in a cup final. I think he is just about the most enthusiastic footballer we've ever had,and he's like a little kid who just wants to play and play. Bill shankly once described Kevin Keegan like that as having natural enthusiasm and Suarez reminds me of keegan a bit in that respect. I recon he's someone who would pay for nothing, he loves it that much.

Well that phone call happened and if cruyff would of got his way he would of been d.o.f and probably Martinez would of been manager. The contact with cruyff was confirmed in balagues book with an interview with guardiola.

There was loads of made up shit in it. Without reading it all again I can't give specifics but he goes on about a game at millwall in the late eighties where there was murder coming out at the end. Well that was nonsense because we walked out at the end and seen absolutely no trouble at all. The whole liverpool end that night was cockney reds and 1 coach from liverpool and I think us 4 in a car. I don't know if he was getting mixed up with the cup game the year before where the was a lot of trouble, but that was a Sunday afternoon , and the game he referred to was a midweek night game.

And yes I am aware of it being set in Birkenhead, but I presume Sampson wrote it based on his experiences on traveling away with liverpool.
