  1. This one's good too. Might have been on here already. If so, sorry for posting it again.
  2. Sorry if this has been posted on her before. The last goal is pure class. GazzettaTv - Le magie del piccolo Torres Cheers mates, enjoy
  3. It seems to me everybody’s sticking their heads in the sand here. If the Russian offers enough money who’s to say the two Yankee criminals won’t sell? How can you be so sure? I’m not saying Torres is lost for us, I don’t even think it’s likely. But it is a fact the bastards are still in charge. They love money, are proven liars and rumors say they’re almost broke. Friends, this is not impossible. If Torres goes I expect there’ll be bye-bye to Rafa as well. Let’s hope it doesn’t come to this. We have every reason to be worried though.
  4. Baring in mind we pay the same amount to cover 14 days of interest on their loans, I’d have to agree. In this context 1,2 M is pocket money. They really suck every drop of blood out before they kill the cow, don’t’ they? There's plenty left for them to steal, we’ll bleed more.
  5. It wouldn't make sense selling DogPoo. Unless of course they’ve got someone better lined up as replacement. Who’s better than CheatPoo then? Not many, but Torres is. The lying yanks are still in charge, so you never know mate.
  6. He's 17 isn't he? 22 games for Cardiff this season? At 17 Robbie was banging in goals for us, Owen was a full international at 17, same for Rooney. I doubt this Ramsey lad is as good as they say he is.
  7. JR's best position is definitely left back ........ left back in the dressing room!
  8. Comparing Nemeth. Fowler or Dalglish. Have a look at this link: http://i27.tinypic.com/206ikvk.gif That reminds me of...
  9. The banner made me laugh, playing the mancs and making a ”Scouse free zone”-banner, WFT? For any Liverpool FC fan that can only be seen as an act of honor. I changed channels after the penalties and switched back 15-20 mins later to see if it was over. It was not, the manc players were celebrating in front of their fans, their fans singeing “FIVE TIMES”!!!!! Couldn’t make out the exact words, but I suppose it was “We won I three times etc.” Well if that’s not an act of honor for us I don’t know, using our song at the CL-final singing won it three times when we’ve got five. Well done to you mancs, continue bowing…
  10. Just had a look at this touting page; Ticket Point - Tickets at Sports Index - Football Banter It seems they’re desperate to get rid of tix for face value now, even in the mancs end. The touts are in for a big loss now. Something good about this final after all.
  11. It’s been on Sky Sports and a number of radio stations, but I’ve not seen anyone mention it here. It looks like AFC Liverpool will be playing non league football next season. They've got a manager and hundreds of people met up for trials this Monday. Are you lot supporting them? Are you going to watch them live? Do you oppose to the idea or do you simply say “Good luck, but I don’t give a toss”? Personally I think it’s a great idea. I’ve been told the average age of the Anfield match goers are 43. Where are the young lads? About time someone brought football back to it’s roots IMO
  12. When Essien's goal the other night was disallowed the ball went straight in. It didnt touch any of the offside players. Why is that one offside and not the other? We need a simple rule. Either the old rule or a new one saying it's not offside if the ball doesn't touch the offside player.
  13. This nonsense started back in the 1994 World Cup. Brazil was playing someone and the defense of the opposing team pulled out leaving Romario in an offside position. While slowly walking he raised his hands signaling to the ref and Bebeto took advantage of the open space that opened up.- goooo-gogogogogooollll! Romario wasn’t interfering with play they said, yet the defense wouldn’t have moved out the way they did had it not been for him. Silly rule.
  14. At £60 a ticket 60k is probably just what we need. 60.000 prawn sandwiches every other week. Happy I was born a human being, tough times ahead for prawns me thinks.
  15. Relax brothers. We haven’t beaten the mancs in the league for some years, but we’ve been the better team on occasions like last season at Anfield. We’re not that much behind them. This is going to be a huge event, nerves are going to be a major factor. We’ll be the underdogs, the mancs will shit themselves. We’ll twat them in Moscow. And as a bonus, the mancs will have their minds on that final so much they’ll lose the league ending up with the absolute zero. As for tonight, we simply have no choice. We need to beat the mercenaries - period!
  16. This banner from another site made me laugh: "Chelsea - If we beat you again do we get to keep you?"
  17. I agree 100% we should buy one or two quality players rather than 5-6 squad players. That’s why I advocate keeping players like Pennant here. He was great for us last part of last season. People do have short memories. As for the money, there’s a lot of money that seems to have just disappeared isn’t it? As custodians Hicks/Gillette wouldn’t take all that money out of the club would they? My guess is the dosh simply vaporized.
  18. Normally we’d have app. a £20M transfer budget, the money coming from one year’s profit. By August this year, however, we’ve paid £15M interest on our loans (1/2 a year) Does that mean we’ll have a £5M transfer budget this year, or maybe less as we prepare to pay interest for the months to come? If not, who’s going to pay for it? Hicks? More loans? Before I get too excited about new potential signings, I’d like to know.
  19. Let's say our business has been as usual this year compared to last year. We'd have to deduct app. £15 M from our normal transfer budget this year, as that is app. what half a year of payinig interest on av 350M loan would be. So prepare for no big signings or close your eyes Leeds style and go shopping.
  20. Why does everybody want Pennant out? Pennant’s put in some great performances for us. He only needs to be more consistent. Unless we’d bring in an absolutely world class right winger I’d prefer to see Pennant as part of our team next season. The ones we’ve been linked with aren’t any better.
  21. Super post. As somebody else said on another thread: They may have the advantage of the away goal, but we’re now the only team that could end up with two away goals.
  22. Your heroes from Salford also created deafening silence and invented prawn sandwiches. They have special arrangements for OOT’s (One-United). Like a herd of sheep the tourists are brought through their super store, leaving behind more than £100 each in addition to the match ticket. That’s the “fans” they want at Old T, not those non-spending regulars. We’re moving in the same direction, but is that really what you want?
