Very valid point.There is such an arrogance about alot of Barca fans,that reminds me in many ways of Mancs.They are a massive club,with a history of great players and their support is immense.I like the people there but football wise,I found them unbelievably arrogant,when I saw us play out there.The AC fans i've met have been the opposite(wasnt in Turkey :wallbutt: ),they talk about us with alot of respect and one I met described us a "truly mythical club" and said to me that he would have loved to have seen some of our great sides play the Milan of the late 1980's/early 1990's.

Lyon or Arsenal for me.Lyon for Ged and Arsenal because i've always had a soft spot for them,especially in the 90's when they were the only club able to match the scum.Their 2004 team was immense and Wenger is just such a great manager.It would also really piss off the chavs and the scum. I would say he was.He had everything.His first season and a half he was immense at Chelsea also,then he was playing very well as a defensive winger after Mourinho completely changed his instincts,now this season hes been very poor,possibly some of that through injury. Calling him a mercenary is a tad bit harsh.He seems like the kind of lad who just wants to play football.As much as i despise Chelsea,you cant really blame him for leaving Blackburn for them,especially as we,the Mancs,or Arsenal never came in for him.

I dont want tp waste too much time talking about the bum bandits but watching the game,the crapness of players like Duff,who used to be a joy to watch was as much apparent,as the skill and technique of Barca.How he can pick Drogba over Crespo and Gudjohnson is completely baffling. Anyhow a great night for football!

Reid is one of the most in form midefielders in the Premiership and looks like he could be class but i think he falls into the same category as Barton and Nolan,as being very good players but not improving on what we have.Mind you,with Hamann getting on and uncertainty about Momo,any of those three might be great signings. Really like that lad O'Brien.Is he a natural midfielder?
