  1. My only boy who has just gone 3 has not developed as you should have in terms of his communications skills. While he has plenty of words he has not got the language or the ability to formulate sentences. We have been to various people for him to be assessed both publicly and privately and it pretty much looks at this stage that we are staring down the barrel of autisim. Albeit a very mild form. Now I'm ok with this in the sense that at least I know what we are working with and therefore can put together some sort of a structure to help him get on his way. Apart from the communication he is a perfect happy and healthy little boy. Very affectionate and a lil gem. Has anyone had experience with this before? Any advice/suggestions etc? Obviously our main worry is what does this mean for the rest of his life - will he be able to have a normal life etc? Any info provided would be great.
  2. Skyline - an awful 2/10 and the 2 is just for the special effects Jackass 3 - A kind of funny 6/10 but not as good as the previous 2 films
  3. Spent a week on South Beach around 3 years ago with the Missus. The beach is amazing and a must. There are plenty of good bars and restaurants to choose from. However as pointed out earlier they are expensive so be warned. Dont drink in any hotel bar as they rip u off big time. The gash on the beach is also something to behold. U staying in around Miami Beach or South beach?
  4. just watched it last night - The human Centipede. my own fault for renting it out in the first place - I should have known....
  5. was thinking the exact same - Agger for me (if legit that is)
  6. If he does not come out by the end of tomorrow and states that he wants to stay then he clearly wants out. fuck it - make that by tonight. The story has been out for nearly 24 hours so he has had plenty of time to squash the transfer talk at least via the club or his agent. his silence speaks volumes.....
  7. Another bid for Adam is apparently coming...... Maybe they are going to spend all the Torres money in this window
  8. What u on about? Been on this site years and im no manc. Just stating that this always happens with them - they go a couple down but always pull it back. We piss and moan about bent refs and corrupt league officials. When all that happened was that Blackpool shit themselves as soon as they conceded and Utd went for it. Thats it.
  9. Not sure about anyone else here but if that was us coming from 2 down away, with 20 mins to go then we would be shouting about how our amazing never say die spirit and attacking football won us the game. Yea they are shite (by their standards) but they are still unbeaten and its mid Jan. We all knew they would win 3-2 as we have seen it so many times before. To suggest that the league is corrupt and punting on a man utd title win is just plain fucking stupid. Dodgey peno decisions happen in every game. Simple fact is that once they got a goal back blackpool shat themselves as most teams do in the premier league when playing them. Utd smelt it and went for it and the inevitable happened.
  10. 127 hours - 9/10 quality film and worthy of the oscar nominations James Franco puts in a great performance If you are a fan of Danny Boyles films then go see it If you are not a fan of Danny Boyles films then go see it
  11. Just reading that shows how much we have fallen in such a short space of time......
  12. part of me agrees with the original post and i want to believe it will all turn out better the other part says its far too early and a win away to wolves shouldnt start thoughts of a footballing revlolution i still say we will be 2-3 years away from competing for a champions league spot and thats with or without the king still gotta love attacking football though......
  13. Donovan went for the arsenal job as he is a massive gooners fan. hes subsequently returned to ireland and is heading up the national telecommunications provider eircom (our version of BT). He wont be in the running.....
  14. id be delighted with a draw. Hodgson will play for the draw Therefore 2-0 home win basically same shit as stoke away except better football being played by the home team more shit tactics and negative football from the away team
  15. we are shit. we will nick it 0-1 though with a nando header. i have no idea why i think this i just do.
  16. Why the fuck is everyone so surprised at this? apart from the first half on sunday its been the same shite all season.
  17. neither linesman nor ref blew for the handball. Play the whistle isnt thats what we were all taught? Gomes at fault Legit goal
  18. My own opinion is that he will be gone in a couple of weeks when the chavs give us a spanking at anfield.
  19. I seriously couldnt give a fuck who we get as manager as long as we play a decent brand of football. Pass, move and attack. Its simple as fuck but we havent seen it since Evans got the boot over 10 years ago. Who the naswer is I have no idea. The easiest choice is rijkard but im not so convinced. Can we stop all this talk about Kenny returning? The man has been out of the game for far too long and it would hurt us big time. I wouldnt want his legacy ruined with what could happen if he was given the job. Short Lits i guess is: Rijkard Hiddink Pelligrini
  20. The strange thing is I cant understand why alot of people were happy with his appointment in the first place. Hes not up to the standard required here. Its fine for him to do well at a mid table team but that wont be acceptable at Liverpool Football club. Thanks Roy but you are out of your depth here. Bye.
  21. I would imagine it would involve redeveloping the main stand amd the Anfield Rd end. Leaving the Kop and Centenary stand as is? Should get 5,000 extra seats at the Anfield Rd end and another 10,000 seats in the main stand. Theres your 60,000 stadium. Problem is thats as big as its ever gonna get...... I say new stadium in stanley park at 60,000 with options for further increases if its necessary. A regenerating the entire anfield area in the process.
  22. Totaly agree with this. Today was a shocker. Anyone trying to take any positives out of the game is just talking shite or at least trying not to face up to what is ahead of us. We are fighting with Villa & the blueshite for 6th. Shambles.
  23. My Missus and 14 other Irish girls are currently drinking their way through Liverpool at this moment on a hen party. Going to hit Matthew St any minute now. Hallf the part are going to carras match tmrw but my missus refused to go. Divorce is on the cards. Some 80's club is on the menu for tmrw night after the game. My missus the fit one by the way.......
  24. The man himself has not confirmed. The interweb has (which means it aint true) : REVEALED: Kenny Huang tells Liverpool his backers are C.I.C, worth £330bn; no proof of funds yet By Nick Harris 4 August 2010 Kenny Huang, the Chinese businessman linked with a takeover bid for Liverpool in recent days, has told the club’s hierarchy that he has the financial backing of the China Investment Corporation, China’s largest sovereign wealth fund with assets of $332bn, sportingintelligence has learned. If this backing is proven to be true, it would be truly sensational, representing the wealthiest potential owner not just in the history of English football but in global sport. But neither Huang nor any of his rival bidders have yet provided any proof of funding. Huang has not yet provided any firm evidence his backers are C.I.C. In what is being described as a “hugely fluid” situation, Liverpool’s board is considering “five or six” proposals for the club. The situation is moving towards “put up or shut up”. No substantive developments are expected this week although the C.I.C claim will become global news in the next 24 hours. C.I.C’s involvement if confirmed – and questions to its offices in China today by sportingintelligence remain unanswered – would be truly sensational. On the flip side, for that very reason, everyone at Liverpool is remaining cautious until proof arrives. Sources in China remain highly skeptical. Our story on today’s earlier developments, including more details on Huang’s background and business interests, can be found here. http://www.sportingintelligence.com/2010...nds-yet-040806/
