True. Imagine if Maxi or Elmander had smashed the ball straight in, and it being called off because Cole was in an offside position. That would have caused mayhem. Cole became active when Elmander played the ball through to him. Refs and linesmen gets so much shit thrown at them, most of it deserved, but they shouldnt be critisized for making a rare correct decision.

Dirk is absolutely useless in a wide midfielder in 4-4-2. If he plays he should partner Torres up front, with Cole,Maxi, Babel, Jovanovic or even a retired Nick Tanner playing on the right. They would all be a better option. Dirk can play right forward in a 4-2-3-1 selection, but thats the only 2 positions he should be played at. In my opinion our current squad is not equipped to play 4-4-2 as we only has 1 decent striker and no wingers.

Who is this Rangnick? I have honestly never heard of him before. Regarding the age, I dont think 52 s too old. That`s almost baby years in management.

Gerrard Lucas Maxi Well done by Aurelio as well. It was good to have something lookig like a footballer in that position.

I was actually thinking, has anyone ever been sacked during HT? If not, it`s about time. Roy Hogdson is fast becoming the worst fotball related ( not counting Hillsborough and Heysel obviously ) incident ( well at least the 2nd worst thing )to ever have happened to our club. Luckily he should be easier to get rid of than G&H. I cant believe anyone thought it was a good idea hiring him. I knew he would be a disaster, but had no idea his uselessness could reach such limits. Even though if we turn it around today, he needs to go. He is a manager that could have drained all confidence and self belief out of Messi, Maradona and Pele. Roy please just go... Please.... Us fans started off saying you are a decent bloke and all. Prove it and accept failure. After 30 years of failure, you should have all the experience to handle it. And please take Jones, Poulsen and Konchesky with you as well. I would like to keep this for regulars. I have been lucky to have been given Owen, Woo and Karl in the past to send to and they have all provided good reviews.On the other hand i`ve also been given 'newbies' with few post. They seem to dissappear. It may sound elitist, but if we keep it amongst them who are steady visitors well reduce some of the problems. The one I sent to this year havent been on this forum since early december, so I have no clue if he have recieved his, and im certainly not expecting a review. The lack of review is almost as bad as not recieving. And also... Who sent mine? I`ve asked for help, but noone has so far made any suggestion. Anyone?

Bloody hell... When you think it cant get any worse it does. This is by far the worst half of the season. Reina ( nothing to do ), Skrtel and Glen Johnson is the only ones in my opinion that can look themselves in the mirror. Kyrgiakos has been awful, as has the consistently crap Konchesky. In the middle we are totally outplayed, with the tactical genius Roy Hogdson decides to play Meireles right and Kuyt left. Roy.., Have you ever watched us play? Seriously... Have you? I know you are boring the living daylights out of most fans ( except mypost ), but certainly you manage to stay awake yourself? I do wonder though, for the level of cluelessness you are possessing is astonishing. Maxi Rodriguez as a wide midfielder is much better than Meireles and Kuyt in that position. Much better. Rodriguez has actually scored a few goals from midfield. We know you dont like midfielders to attack Roy, we know. But Roy isnt being helped by his players. I would be tempted to take off Torres, as at the moment he is offering us nothing. Match after match he is our worst player alongside Kuyt. He needs a rocket up his arse. It says all about Roys management skills that he can take the best forward in the world and make him look like a non league player. Well done Roy! And the saddest part about this performance... Im not surprised at all....This is what I was expecting. Mr Henry...Mr Werner...If you are reading fan forums...Please rid us from Hogdson. Please. He is up there alongside Djenghis Khan, Idi Amin, Greame Souness.... Ruthless destroyers leaving only dust and ruins behind them. Okay here is the review of the first disc named Hopping About Stuff. The artwork was minimalistic with a less is more approach. Here it is: 1. Prison-System Of A Down Never paid much attention to SOAD. Did appreciate Aerials a few years ago. Killer start to a cd that set the tone straight away. Good choice. 2. Empty Walls- Serj Tankian A new aquaintance for me. Another one I like. 3. Puzzlin Evidence-Talking Heads Never been a fan. And although this is not a bad song, I find it a bit boring. 4.Phychoscial-Slipknot This is where it gets interesting. These are also a band I`ve never paid much attention too. And it surprised me that I like this much more than i thought I would. Usually I prefer the singer to sing, but I dig the riffs and structure of this song. Nice one. 5. Mannish Boy- Muddy Waters A blues classic that everyone knows. A big sidestep from the rest, but a nice breather. 6. Little Red Riding Hood-Milo Z A little more on the funky side. Sadly not really my kind of tune. 7. Given Up-Linkin Park Never really taken to Linkin Park. Not bad, but whenever I hear them play I think it`s the same song. 8. Love Like Blood-Killing Joke A new band and a new song too me. It has a real 80`s sound to it, and the fact that I try to forget most of the music and fashion from the 80`s im surprised that I find myself tapping to the beat to this. Good. 9. Sex Machine-James Brown James Brown, what can I say? Get up...Get on up! 10. Smokestack Lightning- Howling Wolf Never heard this before. I was really into blues in my late teens. This is a nice trip back. You cant go very wrong with Muddy and Howlin Wolf. 11. Let It Die-Foo Fighters And you certainly cant go very wrong with a bit of Foo. This is one way to do a song. Very good! 12. Soul Surfing- Fat Boy Slim Skip. Sorry... This is just annoying. 13. Scream Aim Fire-Bullet For My Valentine Back on track. Another band I havent heard before. I like this one. Good to be back. 14. Whole Lotta Rosie-AC/DC Never been a huge fan of AC/DC. I like them in small doses, or when dead drunk on parties. After a few songs the voice of the singer starts to irritate me. But they do have a few belters though. 15. Hi Heels Sneakers- Tommy Tucker Another blues, and another hit. Like this one as well. 16. Dontcha- Pussycat Dolls Feat. Busta Rhymes This is another one I really should`nt like, but find myself tapping my feet too. A little Busta freshens things up. 17. The Game- Southside This is also a little outside what I usually listen too. Although not something im likely to buy, it brings something else to this compilation. It works well. 18. Johnny B. Goode- Chuck Berry One of Rock N Roll`s main men and a fitting finale too a very fine SS cd. Thanks alot to the one putting this together. Havent got a clue who the producer of this fine compilation is, but If I was to take a wild guess I would say Fink. There was a second CD as well, named Smoothies. Havent had the time to hear it yet, but a track list and review will follow. Ho Ho Ho

Got mine yesterday. Had to pick it up while at work, and of course left it at work when I went home. Will post the track listing when i get home late this evening. A review will follow in a few days. Happy days!

Prague is an absolute ace city. Went there in August, and if you step just a couple of hundred yards away from the tourist traps, you get incredibly good beer for an incredibly low price ( at least compared to Norwegian prices ). Good draw!

It turned out Roy spoke a load of bollox. Relatively happy with the team. Pacheco should have started though, but otherwise a good mixture between youngsters and first teamers in need of matches. A strong bench, but hopefully they wont be needed. I guess Torres will make a late entry to please all the kids n the tand tonight.

It`s not dislike, it`s lack of sense. When these matches mattered he rested key players like Torres ( who needed matches and played against Utrecht away ) because the players are not up to playing so many matches. So now, just ahead of the busy christmas schedule followed by an upcoming FA cup tie at Old Trafford, he decides to play a strong side in Europa league. It just makes no sense at all. This is a perfect opportunity to give the fringe players a match and rest our key players. Consider the mayhem if Reina or Torres picks up an injury tonight? Off course the teams hasn`t been picked yet, so it`s too early to jump on him, but if he picks the team his comments suggest, he will deserve any critisism coming his way. According to Liverpool.no he has now confirmed Danny Wilson will play, so unless Aurelio has picked up another niggling injury, at least one of Skrtel or Kyrgiakos will be rested.

Based on comments by Roy, it seems like we will be playing a stronger 11 than in any of the other matches so far in this competition. If true, it`s a bit of a joke really and totally contradicts anything he has been saying so far this season. liverpool.no expects this side based on Roy`s comments. Reina, Kelly, Kyrgiakos, Skrtel, Aurelio; Kuyt, Poulsen, Shelvey, Cole; Babel, Torres.

Sorry in advance to my recipient as it`s been crazy here. Havent had as much time as i`d wish putting them together ( 2 disc). When I listened to them back to back they were a bit slower than I would have liked, and the artwork was done during the last 10 minutes of a match the other day I could`nt bare watching anymore. That being said it`s still very ace and certainly full of aceness and also in the mail, so hopefully it will arrive to save one lucky soul`s christmas soon. Ho Ho Ho...
