  1. Me and my 2 mates have been to both home games but the are all on the same fucking fancard and the cunts won't let us transfer any across to my fancards. Wankers.
  2. Anthony Le Tallec has reflected on his decision to spend the first half of the season in France and admitted: "I made a big mistake." The 20 year old French midfielder is now back at Melwood after Liverpool agreed a deal with St Etienne to cut short his season long loan spell, but he accepts there could be a long road ahead before he's considered for first team football again at Anfield. Le Tallec requested a loan move after failing to receive assurances from Rafa Benitez that he would play regular football for Liverpool this season. But after an unsuccessful and injury plagued six months abroad, he's now determined to justify Benitez's decision to give him a second chance on Merseyside. Speaking to Liverpoolfc.tv, Le Tallec said: "I made a big mistake. I accept that. I wanted to go on loan because I wanted to play a full season of first team football and I thought I would get that in France. "But things went wrong for me over there. The manager changed the system of play and I got an injury which kept me out for two months. It just didn't work out for me at all. "Looking back now it was the wrong decision for me to have made. I should have stayed here and fought for my place. I'm young and I just wanted to play. "When I heard that Liverpool wanted me back I was very happy. This is still my club and England is still the best league to play in. I thought I made the right decision at the start of the season but I always missed Liverpool and now that I'm back I want to do as well as I can." After being disappointed with his midfielder's attitude in wanting first team guarantees at the start of the season, what has the Liverpool manager had to say since Le Tallec's return? "He has been very honest with me," said Le Tallec. "He told me I must start training with the reserve players at Melwood and then if I do well I can train with the first team again. That's a normal situation and I accept that. "It's up to me now. I have a point to prove and I want to show the manager I am good enough to be part of his first team plans. I believe I have the ability, I just have to work hard and play well in the reserves to prove myself. "This is a different club now to what it was six months ago when I left. There are lots of new players here and I need to get to know them. I'm looking forward to the challenge which lies ahead of me now. Of course I want to play in the first team but I realise there are no guarantees at a club like this. "I still have great confidence in my ability. I have never lost that and I do believe I can break into the first team squad before the end of the season. That is my aim now and I am more determined than ever to make it happen. "I have taken over the number 13 shirt - hopefully it won't be unlucky for me!" Good to see he knows he done wrong and now has to work hard to get back in the 1s team squad.
  3. No season ticket. I thought the point of giving priority on fan card was so that if a season ticket holder couldn't be bothered going to the Carling cup games they wouldn't get a ticket ahead of fan card holders who went to the games.
  4. Anyone know how they are going be sold ie who gets priority. I've only been to the home matches reckon I'd be able to get a ticket?
  5. Are they still on general sale?
  6. I would only pay about 2 million for him. At least he's a fully commited player. How reliable is the source?
  7. So we have had a bid accepted for Palace and he's speking to Spurs? Surely if we had a bid accepted he'd be here by now?
  8. I doubt it. Not when we have two brilliant strikers available.
  9. Hamann will play. He always does well against them. Garcia shouldn't play.
  10. Gonna head over tonight for my first tranmere game. They sell young persons tickets, what age have you to be to qualify for one. Don't fancy paying 17 quid.
  11. If you are contemplating leaving Liverpool you shouldn't be captain.
  12. About fucking time as well. He should keep it.
  13. Raven, Smyth, Potter, Mellor and Whitbread are all in it. Carragher is starting.
  14. He's a far more mobile player than Beattie. A while ago when Liverpool were being linked with Wright Philips some people were saying he isn't good enough and is a one season wonder. They were wrong, if Johnson signs give him a chance. He's done well this year.
  15. I don't think they ever said Smith was definitely signing. And it was meant to be Houllier after him.
  16. Was he not cleared of match fixing but was done for something else?
  17. Mourinho made a dick out off Ferguson last year in the mind games stakes.
  18. Chris Bascombe seems to believe it isn't a possibility. If we got him I'd be absolutely delighted. Him and Morientes in January would be 2 amazing signings.
  19. YNWA have a thread baout Morientes from a while ago. Looks like they were spot on.
  20. Maybe Morientes deal will write off the Owen money so we actually aren't spending anything on him and then we sign Anelka for 6 million?
  21. I think we'll have a better second half of the season. Are there people on Rafa's back already?
  22. hahaha. Serious? Get him back Rafa
  23. I just want to see him score 1 more goal at the Kop end for Liverpool. I think if he came back he'd work his bollocks off to get fit and would do well in Rafa's rotation system. For the fee he'd cost we could do a lot worse.
  24. Fuck sake. He was starting to show glimpses of the quality he possesses.
