  1. So if someone offers to pay you back the cost of attending the game you will consider being more "supportive" during the 90 minutes?
  2. As far as I'm concerned Klopp can do whatever he wants. The role of the fans cannot be underestimated. Those who want to spread negative vibes can fuck off and give their season tickets to fans who are willing to get behind the team. Criticize all you want after the game but during the 90 minutes get behind the team. Even if you believe that fans contribute to no more than 5% of the final outcome of the game. These 5% matter, and can be the difference between a win and a draw. Do your bit. That's all what Klopp is asking for. It doesn't mean he doesn't see the players' shortcomings if he asks you to do your bit!
  3. Klopp to LFC TV: "I decide if I feel tired. If I have to save the lives of my children I will never be tired." Is right ...
  4. Let's say Italy surpasses England in the UEFA coefficient thing by the end of this season. Does that mean 3 spots instead of 4 as of next season? or the season after? I was under the impression that 4 spots next season is already confirmed, but I could be wrong.
  5. I tried to think of some criteria that I believe should be applied to anyone before being called a legend and came out with the following: 1. Spent more than 2 seasons at the club 2. Had a significant contribution to us winning a title or a European cup 3. Had a special bond with the fans 4. Integrated well with the local community or was a local himself 5. Didn't go on to play for one of our rivals I think a player should have all 5 of the above before being called a legend.
  6. Dalglish, Keegan, Kuyt, Barnes, Rush. If you can pick the odd one out of the above then you get your answer.
  7. I think I have a very decent record at lurking myself ...
  8. If he drops the cap, jeans, and tracksuit and suddenly starts turning out in suit and tie then I will be worried ...
  9. I think Gerrard comes across as a bit of an immature person in this book.
  10. Rafa is saying that Gerrard was wrong in what he said about him in the book ... and that he will not comment any further out of respect and appreciation for Gerrard, the fans, and the club ...
  11. The kid that is Michael Owen has retired ... what more do you need to make you realize you're getting old ...
  12. I think people can become supporters of a certain club without having seen that club win a trophy. I started supporting Liverpool towards the tail end of 1994-1995 after I saw a rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone. We beat Blackburn on the final day of that season knowing that our win could have easily handed the title to our bitter rivals ... For me these were the signs of a classy club that was well worth my support.
  13. ... and stank the whole place with his horrible smell ... He started to condemn farting out loud ... pretending that its an awful thing that cannot be accepted ... in the hope that people will not suspect that he is the one who stinks ... that man represents british society, and that is my take on the suarez affair.
  14. Having watched all 3 Engalnd games in this tournament I have to say I wasn't impressed with Jordan Henderson's performances. My only hope is that King Kenny sees him as some sort of raw material that he believes he can transform into quality ...
  15. After watching the three England U21's games in this tournament I have to say I wasn't impressed with Jordan Henderson's performances. Doesn't tackle. Doesn't take the initiative. Invisible. My only hope is that King Kenny sees him as some sort of raw material that he can transform into quality ...
  16. I have only just finished reading King Kenny's latest book. I wasn't lucky enough to witness his glory days as player and manager, but reading the book you can't help but think that this is a guy who has seen it all and done it all before. One thing that he hasn't done is manage LFC in European competitions. I'm not sure if he had managed Blackburn/Newcastle/Celtic in Europe, does any one know what if he'd done that and what his record was? It would be fantastic if he can add to his managerial accolades by leading us to glory in this year's Europa Cup ... I have no doubt he can do that!
  17. I started supporting Liverpool in 1995 when we beat Blackburn 2-1 and they were crowned champions at Anfield. Man Utd drew with West Ham that day and came second. If Man Utd had won that day they would have been champions. We should always try our best to win no matter what.
  18. Good post, Judge. I think that mind games can have an effect on the players. They are not a major factor in deciding the outcome of games, but they are a factor nonetheless. It depens how you look at it. United players will have enough determination to win these games regardless of what Rafa and the payers say. But there's a certain level of determination above which it becomes a negative influence ... maybe this is what Rafa's aiming at ... trying too hard is not always a good thing ... you lose focus of your objective (winning the league) and engage in psychological games of trying too hard to prove people wrong. ... or something like that.
  19. I just sent him this text from my Kuwaiti mobile number: A fatwa has been issued for your thick brain by Al Qaeda Liverpool fan club in Kuwait ... "thou shall not survive the wrath of allah!"
